You ain't getting it he has all the abilities of everyone in that series which includes super fast spells too and as I just said he can coordinate various abilities to get even faster and more stronger, Like for example there's a horse demon the manga he is a normal human level in terms of speed and once he uses spell he becomes massively hypersonic so Gash on the other hand a speed of hypersonic like higher so Jim using that spell would be easily making him at least sub relativistic, then he can use his stats amplifying spell which increase his overall stats making his sub relativistic speed to be at at least relativistic+ same as meliodas, he can even shapeshift to make himself even stronger, and there are many more that's why I think gash wins.

But there isn't any calculation about his speed above MHS, hence why he is extremely slower here.

Well his Planet busting attack was one of the attack that he used in collaboration with other techniques to make it a planet buster or else that simple technique without any amps was a large island level attack, that's why I'm saying he can also increase all his stats with such collaboration techniques
