It happened with David-kun and I'm From Japan, but that's most likely because the two were both gag manga. I can't think of a story based series to get the treatment.

Still I expect 2 newbies max, GFC will also launch around issues 39 or 40, which obviously will take a spot.

I can see this perfectly working as a 1 series round serialization, with Saiyuki being axed and having GFC. Then it will still be one-shots until newbies reach around 18-19 chapters and Yui Kamio gets around +25~30, guessing this just because of mangaka being veteran and being given more chapters, like Hungry Marie. After all of this I think the huge round serialization could happen, but not for now.

Sounds about right, although I think Tokyo Shinobi Squad might hang on a little longer than Beast Children and Double Taisei, if for no other reason than axing four series when the magazine is already pretty light seems a bit excessive.

I'd bet the maintenance of series on sales, honestly. Volumes are being released next month and I'm almost sure those 3 will survive maybe even 4 more issues than the 3 we already know (38, 39 and 40), so that would make them survive until issue #44. From that onwards, just time and its sales performance will tell.

Nope, just saying that spot won't be replaced by anything. Or maybe HxH appears, who knows. The whole point is that I don't find it necessary for everything to be filled right away. Anyway, I could be completely wrong, but I think it could work with 19 spots.
