Saw your previous comment, @Jovan, and I was curious if anyone had a list of all the editors-in-chief?

Some I'm seeing are:

Kazuhiko Torishima (1996-2001)
(2002?)
Masahiko Ibaraki (2003-2008?)
Hisashi Sasaki (2008-2011)
Yoshihisa Heishi (2011-2017)
Hiroyuki Nakano (2017-present)

And it looks like a Tadashi Nagano sometime during the 70s?

Anything from D and above, I have some positive thing about it. Also Psyren to S-Tier. As that was the first big title I felt it was missing.

Each one of these lists are terrible for different reasons, well, the problem with "personal taste" kkkkkk

Anyway, this last episode of Yaiba just show what i said about being more "pleasing" with a studio doing a fantastic job, imagine if this episode was produced by Toei or Pierrot, it would probably still nice but wouldn't be 30% of what it is, Yaiba is TRULY lucky for having Ufotable.

Toei would've been fantastic if they had the mononoke staff and aired it at night. Ufo goes too much with the digital production that sometimes action scenes are messy, not all the time but sometimes action scenes can look weird. That said the Ufo adaptation is awesome but people be praising it like the best ever. I find JJBA/Haikyuu to be better adaptations by quite a big margin.

Here is mine.

I didn't put anything that I don't know or just never read anything about it, meanwhile the NA part are series that I checked out but didn't continue for some reason, so I don't have a criteria on them.

Please stop spamming tier lists. I know it's a dead week but all tier lists do is let people look for their favorite manga, see how they're not shared by others and get triggered lol

Join in and have fun!! It’s that easy!

Edit: but seriously this all has value. We’re learning about each other and our tastes, and no-one has been a dick about it. This is the sort of community building exercise we’ve been sorely lacking between the various flame wars that’ve happened lately. Roll with it.

On that note I did the one for cancelled Jump titles 2000-2009 last night but didn’t wanna overwhelm, enjoy!

Another tiermaker thing, for cancelled Jump manga (2010-present) just because Mankichi's one lit a fire under my butt. Here's mine:

The cancelled tier list is really interesting to me because I've missed out on pretty much all of these, and sometimes the pictures aren't enough info on their own. I'm really intrigued about potential gems that have slipped through the cracks. Can anyone recommend and/or summarize some high quality axed titles for me?

From the last 20 years the absolute top tier (to me, the fool who’s read 99 of them) are:
Shinmai Fukei Killco-san (Kiruko-san if you’re nasty) - comedy about an ex-mercenary girl causing havic as a policewoman
Hoop Men -bilingual basketball good times! The hero never becomes skilled, which is kind of wild
Hatsukoi Limited - not actually sure this one was cancelled. Just an amazing romcom
Cross Manage - a sports manga about losers, almost all entirely about girls too, which is novel
ST&RS - the prototypical example of a Jump series daring to take its time, paving the way for more recent series to do the same. Good space stuff
Love Rush - just quite good funny romcom stuff

Like those’re my S-ranks, but you also can’t go wrong with the interesting failures of Belmondo le Visiteur, Stealth Symphony, Ultra Red, Double Arts and Sakuratetsu Taiwahen. They’re the sort of series where you can see why they died, but enjoy them because of it.

Does that mean Saiyuki is gonna be No 100? XP

"A sports manga about losers" is all I need to know to know why Cross Manage failed IMO. At least the author went on to do a masterpiece in Blue Flag.

Also, I'm slightly confused on the ST$RS comment, if just because the general consensus is that the modern era is faster. Care to elaborate?
