Guys I need an information

How much Kimetsu no Yaiba was selling or rather it's first volume sold before it had any anime adaptation?
Volume 14 sold 145k in Jan . Vol 13 sold 146k in Nov.
Anime boost is 3x

Shokugeki no Soma ~Le Dessert~: Final Chapter

This is the special final chapter! The end! (Tsukuda)

Thanks to everyone who supported Soma until the end! (Saeki)

Also, something curious about the new series. Mitama Secureity's short story in Jump GIGA is about Tsurun's editor reading the script for the series, telling him it's interesting and to inmediately make 3 chapters in order to publish it. Kinda weird, but guess we'll see.

At this point, I will not be surprised if Shueisha axes all Yui, Beast, Futari and TSS and launches 5 newbies lol. Which is what they should do anyway.
Yui is back to square one sadly.

Odd to see TPN and Jujutsu lower than usual.

I learned this from the wsj Wikipedia page:

"1998's New Year's issue was the first time in 24 years that Weekly Shōnen Jump lost as the highest selling shōnen manga magazine (4.15 million copies sold), ceding to Weekly Shōnen Magazine (4.45 million)"

Does anyone know what series were running in wsj for this issue and wsm that caused this?

Assuming this means Issue #1 of 1998 (which has a January 1, 1998 release date), with TOC. Interesting to see Yu-Gi-Oh in bottom 3. One Piece dominating early on too, nice. Fun fact: starting from Issue 7 to Issue 11 they have ended the whole Bottom 5 except for YuGiOh, including Ei-Row despite having like 10 chapters by then! Talk about being ruthless.

  • Ei-Row Ch. 1 (NEW SERIES)
  • One Piece Ch. 19
  • Rurouni Kenshin Ch. 172
  • Seikimatsu Leader den Takeshi! Ch. 20
  • Meiryotei Gotoseijuro Ch. 2
  • Hanasaka Tenshi Tenten-kun Ch. 41
  • BØY Ch. 242
  • Cowa! Ch. 5
  • I"s Ch. 33
  • Kochikame Ch. 1050
  • Hoshin Engi Ch. 70
  • Wild Half Ch. 95
  • Jigoku Sensei Nūbē Ch. 208
  • JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Ch. 531
  • Midori no Makibaō Ch. 143
  • Majima-kun Suttobasu!! Ch. 135
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Ch. 60
  • Cool - Rental Body Guard - Ch. 14
  • Kirin ~The Last Unicorn~ Ch. 12

Guys, remember what I said previously. Unless a ToC is 100% confirmed, don't post it.

Is that ToC 100% confirmed?

It's kind of surreal how Kochikame already had more than a thousand chapters even back then.

How many manga with more than 1000 chapters are there even? One Piece won't be getting there until end 2020.

Ippo, Conan and Dokaben are the only ones which come to mind.

In the Jump I believe that only Kochikame and soon One Piece have reached and exceeded the thousand chapters (Jojo does not count because the last series published in the Jump s iferma on the volume 80)

Hadn't Yonkouprod confirmed it?

Where? A leak on his discord isn't the same as him posting it on Twitter.

Edit: Nevermind, settled now.

Golgo 13 also seems to fit the bill. I'm surprised to see most of these are still running.

I wonder why is Jujutsu so low this week.

Betting on Hero Academia getting the Jump cover for issue 43 or 44 because S4 anime. If there is justice in this world, Jujutsu and/or Act-age should be getting issue 42.
