If Chainsaw Man doesn't count, then it's definitely Mission: Yozakura Family. No contest!

I don't read Jump+ so I can't say, but I probably should...

Jump oneshots wise from this year, I really hope Hakutei no Erica gets a serialization. It would be a breath of fresh air in Jump with great art to boot.
Oh yeah, I remember that oneshot. Is the mangaka doing anything currently? I mean like, other oneshots or even stuff in other magazines?

Ranking my enjoyment of the series (pretty much the order I would read them)
CSM >>> Yozakura > Samurai 8 > Saiyuki > Higuma > ne0 > TSS > Yui > Mitama > BChild

There is still time to say my favorite and which one I think that should survive?
I think it is obvious by my previous comments, but it is Yui Kamio and Yozakura.
If the authors of both make into the Shueisha end of the year party, I will be happy.
For me, both have the most potential, have the most interesting characters and potential for good plots.

Many people said Chainsawman, which compels to talk a little bit about it. I don't know, I don't like or dislike, the beginning I definitely hated (barf in the mouth of another person? Seriously?), but now I think it is decent although it seems to me it is violence for the violence without a lot of plot. This week chapter I finished in 30 seconds, literally. lol

I second this! I’ll also like if Tamura comes back as well with Rappa Rendan

I get what you mean, I wasn’t sold on it right away either. It kinda fills that Bleach void I’ve had for a couple of years where the series is a brisk read but I still get enjoyment out of. The characters have definitely grown on me and it has some of the better comedy in the magazine.

As far as new stuff this year, I'm on the Spy X Family bandwagon. Yui kinda grabbed my attention at first, but I actually liked it more for the romcom hijinx than what it's kinda become (although this week's chapter had some touches of that again, albeit with a distinct supernatural beat). Yozakura's first couple chapters have been an excellent one-two punch, though. I hope it keeps this up.

I know I've said this before, but I still find it hilarious that Shueisha clearly had massive amounts of faith in Samurai 8, only for Spy x Family to come out of nowhere and earn the position of the biggest new series of the year before S8 could even begin.

I'd wait for S8's sales before you start celebrating early.

If counting Jump Plus i would say that Spy x Family is the best new series of 2019, i was stuck on chapter 5 until this Sunday, i read again from ch 1 to 13 and it's truly a great series, few times a series feel so "warm" when you read it, it's like the author can do no wrong with the story and characters, quite incredible when you think the author is in this industry for literally 20 years, Spy x Family is that kind of manga that usually comes from a newbie, i wonder how happy he is after all this time getting a big hit from the first volume.

s8 hasn't even had a volume released already and you seem to not understand the concept of why they pushed s8. Dr.Stone and Toriko got megapushed and their mangakas hadn't touched the level of success Kishimoto had, regardless of how it ends up, it would have been dumb not to push it.
