Shonen Jump Issue 43 Preview
The episode just proved that people in manga community are not ready for true literature. Man, that was the best plot twist I've ever seen even now. It was magnificent, the apex of Seo Kouji career.>there are new people on this site that have not lived through the entire Fuuka incident when it happened
>they have not witnessed both English and Japanese anime community collective mletdown
>they have not ride out the shitstorm
>they only heard about it
one of the greatest days of my life as a weeb![]()
That's some quality baitWe Never Learn pales in comparison to that. I don't even like to talk about We Never Learn because it frustrates me the fact that it was supposed to substitute my favorite manga (Nisekoi) and doesn't come even close.
Lmao THE scene was cut from the anime? I had no idea. I remember reading the manga weekly up to chapter 75 and seeing it drag on didn’t keep on reading. His new series kinda interests me but I’m afraid it’s gonna be more of the same that happened in Kimi no Iru Machi and Fuuka.without spoiling Fuuka
"the big plot twist" got leaked online early with weekly shonen magazine raw
it caused huge backlash online
it caused Kodansha to release an apology statement about the chapter even tho it's not out officially yet
the entire thing was a giant shitfest, it was hilarious
years later the scene was cut from the anime adaptation because of fears it would cause another shitfest![]()
In fact, the Fuuka anime director said in an interview they wanted to pick up Fuuka after Ch.36 was out to do an alternative story of that. Seo approved that thanks to the fans pushing for it.Lmao THE scene was cut from the anime? I had no idea. I read the first 10 chapters and thought was pretty nice, of course you can expect the romance and drama but it's basically the "Bakuman" of Shonen Magazine but focused a bit more on the editors side.Lmao THE scene was cut from the anime? I'm kinda disappointed with WNL as well but for different reasons. The episode just proved that people in manga community are not ready for true literature. Man, that was the best plot twist I've ever seen even now. It was magnificent, the apex of Seo Kouji career.

Didn't people burn their copies of Bleach after the last chapter, because they didn't like the pairings?Since we were talking about the controversial choice made in Fuuka, are there any series in WSJ or even in Shueisha where an author made a choice as controversial as this and was bashed online because of it? The only series I can think of is when Ishida decided to end Tokyo Ghoul out of the blue and for 1-2 weeks people didn't know the series would continue.
Probably not online but Takaya Senbu Gakuen Gekitouden pulled an isekai reboot during the run and it was heavily rejected. It even had the chapter number reset lmao.Since we were talking about the controversial choice made in Fuuka, are there any series in WSJ or even in Shueisha where an author made a choice as controversial as this and was bashed online because of it?
