So currently i am rewatching one piece through reactors(supermechafrieza) while playing some games and... there are some things i didnt noticed earlier.

First thing was, when Nami was dragged by her fatherfigure after she stole something, she said: "hey i am no cat". .... Burgler Cat Nami?

And then the second one was with "love is always a hurrican". I believed it was hancock catchphrase... but no Sanji said it first. 🤔

Had anyone else such things which surprised him by rewatching or rereading one piece?

So Nami said she is no Cat... Interesting is that in the Manga as well? Because the Cat is a special animal. It is the excluded Zodiac in Asia (not in Vietnam though). Basically the animals had a race to see who becomes a Zodiac. The Rat tricked the Cat, so it came last and was excluded. That's why the marine officer during Arlong Park Arc is named Nezumi - Rat!

And here is the thing, western Zodiacs also have an excluded Zodiac. Ophiuchus, the Snakebearer. And if you look into Nami's name, you can find secret meanings relating to Eve from Paradise, a snake, a fruit and a tree, and not just any tree but a very specific one. And Nami's tattoo contains that same riddle. You can also find another animal related to God/the Devil, and I think I also found the verb "to bear"...

But now I have said to much again...

"love is always a hurrican". I believed it was hancock catchphrase... but no Sanji said it first.
This must be the longest foreshadowing ever.... Sanji X Hancock happening.....
Just typing this made Sanji a stone statue.

When did Sanji say this though?

"The term "love is a hurricane", was actually first used by Sanji back in the Arlong Park Arc.[5] In fact, Nyon reveals it to be an East Blue original dictum. "

Gets even stranger.

for fucks sake:

Wow, this manga is so skitzofrenic. There must be endless amount of this kind of stuff. Wonder if oda have one of those walls in his home regarding one piece where you draw lines through connections.
Yooooooo I always imagined this shit! I imagine him in his studio with two rooms and the walls are just covered in the same thing: a bunch of characters with lines all over the place. And on. Different wall he has timelines and one another he has locations and so on. I mean how in the hell else can you cram so much overworld into your head without exploding?

About the Sanji x Hancock thing...definitely. but definitely not the other way around lol. There is no Hancock x Sanji. It is pretty much one sided there. Poor Sanji. I wonder if someone like Viola will finally give into Sanji so he can finally be satisfied. Send the poor guy back to All Blu...I mean the mermaid district of Fishman Island.

The timeline is the easiest one to explain. He has a text file on his computer. Which he keep adding events and ordering them chronologically.

Why not all authors do that?? :|

That just make so much sense lol. Create a story. Make a ez to edit timeline. New shit? Edit timeline. Boom never confused. Are you saying other mangakas don't do this? That's crazy but I've heard stranger things. Like scientists licking stuff to make discoveries. Etf.

Yeah but it was a drag in the end, Edo Tensei is too OP. just read it to finish it. Wasn't too bad. Kishi must have used similar tactics to keep track of his characters. I bet Hiro Mashima did too. I was expressing that statement aghast and part sarcasm.

I think the most annoying one is Orochimaru quitting the Akatsuki because of Itachi... when he was 11. <_< It's annoying because it's super important to the plot.

Well, no.

(I put this inside of a spoiler tag to not pollute the One Piece section with Naruto)

I will never understand why so many people misunderstand this page.

Kisame says they found "him" in the Ramen shop, and "he" is being protected by one of the Sennin. Obviously they are talking about the Nine-Tailed Beast, not Jiraya.

Kisame and Itachi analysis of a fight against the Nine-Tailed Beast seems accurate. The only counter-measure they have against the Nine-Tailed Beast is Itachi's Sharingan, they could never win with sheer power.

Kisame then adds that the title of Uchiha or Seven Swordman pale in comparison to add of Sennin. And that fighting Jiraya will be troublesome. Both are definitely true.

Oda's been great at foreshadowing things always, this doesn't count as one but definitely is a nice to see....
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

And dont fudging get me started on Kishimoto. That guy just ruined the storyline... So lame with Tobito, Naruto getting emo, playing musical chairs with the villains, the change of hearts.... yuck...
It was great till Naruto vs Pain, then it was all downhil.
