Speaking of boosts, I wonder if the 4 year break in between seasons will have caused the interest level to dip to where the backlog boost isn't so massive as we expect (in regards to HQ), we saw a similar thing with Shingeki no Kyojin this year as the season didn't result in any huge backlog boost or increase to per volume sales

It's on MangaPlus.
I meant like, the magazine it was in. I make some exceptions with MangaPlus stuff, like SxF, since it's specifically on the app, etc.

Makima is probably the strongest in the current jump roster.
She can kill by knowing the opponent's name

btw nowadays, I rarely see jump manga that always switch to super deformed character during comedy/banters like Slam Dunk. Last I can remember is shokugeki no soma

it's not even 3 years yet, season 3 ended in December of 2016.

I have a question, if anybody would oblige:

With some established WSJ properties very likely ending in the next year, what kind of new manga would you like to see from the magazine in the near future? It could be anything, as long as you think it’ll fit the magazine.
im fine with more exorcism/demon hunting manga, since these has a higher chance of survival anyway plus its one of my fav genre.

Saiki Kusou would destroy every single wsj characters no sweat
and I'm neither joking nor fanboying
even medaka :3c??, idk about that thooo, medaka is literally a combination of hax and rawest power in the whole universe

Read Double Taisei, The Promised Neverland and Tokyo Shinobi Squad today.
Double Taisei was so random that I think the author already gave up, but it was surprisingly good, I think the author should make a comedy series next.
In The Promised Neverland everything is going smoothly, Norman's plan will be finished in some chapters at this rate. Emma? Who? XD
Tokyo Shinobi Squad has been great, it will be a shame to see it cancelled, but I'm ready for this, I'm already used to this disappointment, happens at least once per year.

Speaking of which, was the series ever fully animated? There are 2-3 seasons on Netflix right now but dunno if they adapt all of the manga or not.
The adaptation is great.

You misspelled Medaka, although Shishime and Ajimu could probably win as well

Medaka box characters are just incredibly powerful.

so, what happened to Osamu Akimoto's 4 serializations? I remember when they got announced after he finished Kochikame but I didn't heard anything after that
Are they ongoing still?

Fujimaki's art is very awesome and cool.
I hope he returns to Jump with a new manga.

There were like 40 chapters skipped or something, but there’s still more to come. Who knows if it’ll just be the epilogue in OVA or an actual season length (I feel like it was announced as a TV anime, but it’s been a while so I’m probably imagining things).

Guess I'll have to watch the anime and then buy the volume for collection in order to support the author.
For some reason I handle pure gag manga better in anime than in manga. Gintama is no exception. I watched most of the anime but never read the manga.
