minor explanations

grey backgrounds is from monthly total since some individual weeks are unknown
orange background are unknown week with lowest known value in the top 10 series meaning the actual must be less than that

bolded are sum of calculatable value, so the recent TPN is not added, but probably 180k max

green background is if up to the same date (last week aka, up until 15 sep, AND with the maximum possible value added for TPN (should be lower, by how much? you tell me) AND KNY is up to last week as well since the weekly for the current week is not out so we cannot know how much is the lowest possible value in the top 10 for the week

Whether Gorilla or Aiga are correct or not doesn't matter. Admiteddly I like Kimetsu so it performing well would be great news for me, #2 behind One Piece would be nice but it doesn't need to happen to make me happy. My problem is simply the toxicity of devaluing their arguments because... they might not have read the series or been up to date with its sales data months ago.

How is that toxic when you're just letting in bandwagoners who would have never been interested in the series to begin with?

No it hasn't. The culmination list has not been even tallied yet. TPN and Kingdom backlog are still selling at a rate of 17k per volume and they have much higher per volume sales than Kimetsu, all Kimetsu's doing is just catching up since it didn't even make the top 10 during the half list.

Obviously he will not reach Kingdom, but although he could not reach the top 10, Kimetsu reached 11th place in the first half of the year and there was little left to reach One Punch Man.

obviously is a word thrown around so lightly here, though admittedly it is caused by people nkt having enough info...

anyway from observation, a the current pace, kingdom is more likely ot be ahead of tpn by oricon year end but the chances of tpn coming ahead is looking pretty respectable.

the gap ain't that wide, and tpn still have a Volume, if kingdom bost stopped being significant at any point forward, then tpn is the one who will come out ahead,

i don't want to say anything nore since I'm hoping people can test their reading comprehension and calculation skills but this and my previous post, will tell you on where kny might fit in this.

Everyone is always sleeping on Kingdom. It had the best chance to beat One Piece this year but I've heard nothing of its backlog since the live action movie run ended. As @MangAniMY said the top 3 is going to be incredibly close this year probably the closest its been in years now that the chinks in One Piece's sales armor has finally been lifted and series like Kimetsu, MHA, and QQ getting boosts like no tomorrow. If not this year then definitely next year.

I do like how the harem manga is almost certain to overtake 2 of the most hyped manga/anime in the west nowadays, 1 with not enough volume to come out higher, and the other with a delayed volume that probably cemented its position out of the top 5, even though it will have a new season airing soon

also the fact that the harem manga is most likely will be living up to its namesake.

1. It wasn't an active Twitter, in fact it was made just a couple days prior to bashing s8, and instantly it followed rain and doesn't follow anyone else

2. The first thing it posted was tweet insisting "the Japanese hate s8", not even just "I don't like it" but somehow claims to speak for the "Japanese" just like rain is always trying to say he knows don't like s8.

4. It speaks in abnormally formal Japanese and translates way better using google translate then other Japanese posts. Also all the Japanese accounts I've seen respond to English replies in English or partial english, but this account only replies in Japanese but perfectly understands every English tweet it replies too.

It may as well be. I have seen it and most of its tweets are pretending to be a japanese to confirm in /that guy/ tweets that he is right and all japanese despise Sam8.

As I don't want to answer my answer to be off-topic, What do you guys think about Act-Age art?
I started reading it days ago and I think it was really amauterish in the beginning, especially in terms of panelling and all that comic stuff. No wonder its from a young artist.
