Hinomaru had a strong core fanbase and a good amount of acclaim, it even trended when it ended. It may be the lowest selling entry in the Jump canon, but never let it be said it wasn't a success.

Yeah, no chance for KnY to beat OP. People forget that OP gets a lot of backlog sales, Last year alone it got 800-900k worth of backlog, that with the volume that's coming out for Oct is going to keep a large gap...

It doesn't matter, Zumou still a manga that was never able to sell 40k in the top 50 and the anime didn't made anything for it, Samurai 8 can underperform as much you want and will still be more profitable for Shueisha

I think the backlog will be a bit bigger than usual thanks to the Stampede film. We will see.
