Jacob threw his hands up after he got hit to prevent any more hits. He didn't have his defense up when Natsu and Lucy kicked him. Jacob wasn't making any effort to defend himself before he got hit. You can literally see that Jacob's right hand is still raised the exact moment he gets hit. If Jacob made any effort to cover up, it was after he had already been hit.

You don't knock how much damage Jacob took from the attack. It's a punch. Gag face means nothing.
Dude we can clearly see he tried to defend Natsu and Lucy's attack versus Makarov's. His body posture shows his head was still in the fight with Natsu and Lucy as we see him afterwards with his defense up but with Makarov he was flailing his hands in the air and everyone had the gag effect face on lol.

He got zero damage and we know this bcs he had zero visible damage nor had a text bubble of physical hurt unlike the times he got hit by Natsu.

Makarov punch literally did no damage... And how can you say Gag face means nothing when Brandish got oneshotted by Cana bcs of the gag? That makes zero senses unless we count that as a gag which it was just like the whole age joke and launch of Jacob. Jacob was taking more damage from that combo kick and wasn't launched but he was launched by Makarov's punch he no sold?

No. What we clearly see is that Jacob got hit by Natsu and Lucy's kick when Jacob was still pointing his finger to the sky. We clearly see that Natsu and Lucy's kick knocked his head backwards. Everything you showed with Jacob covering up was after Jacob was already hit. You're trying to say that Jacob having his hands up after Natsu and Lucy had already kicked him is proof that he had his guard up the whole time. The problem is that we can see the exact panel when Jacob got hit. He didn't have his guard up at all. Pointing your finger to the sky and taking a kick on the chin is not what having your guard up looks like.

Gag face doesn't prove anything. It's not a real argument for anything. I have no idea what you mean by text bubble of visual hurt....but it's probably in the same category of gag face. Makarov's punches aren't like Natsu. Natsu's punches tend to burn you. Makarov's punches are mostly just physical. Doesn't mean they don't hurt.

Nothing suggests that he did though as he was clearly inferior to Spriggans, even a weakened Spriggan was a threat to top level characters like Natsu. gray and Erza, and base level Natsu could not take down Ajeel when there was no reason to hold back, and Jacob could hold his own as well against base Natsu.

I rank Larcade below END
Hope you don't mind that I'm not covering a majority of your points (because they were good ones) but I feel this needs to be discussed first, as this is a big difference between us and affects all of the other points. Admittedly this may also come down to use just having different ranking systems, since I tend to value hax, the AoE of said hax and the speed at which it works over pure power. Now, onto the actual point...

In raw power and maybe Magic Power/Curse Power I agree, but outside of that Larcade seems more dangerous to me.

I listed his hax before so I won't do that again (besides, you likely know more than me lol) but how quickly he can beat people as well as his crazy AoE is being overlooked. His Orgasm Magic covered an entire battlefield, and it was so effective to the point that Zeref asked him to stop because it was too troublesome. Also its not as if it takes a lot of time to go into effect either, people were floored within moments. Now yes, they weren't actually in front of Larcade so there is room to argue that if they had been there they could have fought back. The issue with using the argument that because Kagura fought back then Laxus and Gildarts should is that its ignoring one crucial point - she was a virgin. From what we saw non-virgins were basically crippled moments after Larcade started, even Irene was starting to hunch over. In comparison Kagura wasn't affected the second she got free of the tentacles, meaning she could actually fight back properly. This wouldn't be the case for Gildarts/Laxus/whoever, even if they try to counter-act the pleasure by inflicting pain its only going to last for a split second.

For the record - I can't believe I actually just used an argument regarding the characters' virginities' in a power level debate. This fucking manga dude.

Even if they manage to fight through that they still have to deal with Hunger, Slumber and his Light Blades. And I'd imagine dodging the Light Blades would be pretty damn hard when either so hungry they can barely move or so tired they can barely stand.
Mind Control stuff is alright, but the fact that it didn't help him in the slightest when Gray was beating the snot out of him instantly makes me think less of it in a combat scenario.
Agreed here, though its still something he could blindside people with IMO.
Ice Kamui getting shattered by Gray's pure physical strength doesn't particularly impress me either.
To be fair to Kamui its structural integrity was already breached since Gray could mould the ice however he wanted. From the looks of the page Gray's arm was literally going to shatter before he broke Kamui. His control of ice was what really screwed Kamui over, his strength was just overkill.
Yeah, I used to think Neinhart's magic was situational too, until I found out he can use his own Historias.
Can he? If you're talking about the Spriggan Historias present during the prelude to the final battle of the Alvarez-Ishgar War. I always thought he had simply used his Historia Magic one of the other Spriggans/Zeref.

This is off-topic but you've just raised another flaw with the Alvarez arc, when it came to reviving the dead S12's via Historias they should have had August do it. It consuming some Magic Power is basically negligible given a) his absurd levels of MP, and b) the fact that having 3 S12 level historias is well worth the trade of August performing slightly below average (lets face it, at worst he'd become Laxus/Jellal/Gildarts tier).

No prob, but tbh this point here is likely the greatest difference between us. I rate hax below power, a lot below in some cases. Even Dimaria, who has the best hax in the series, I say would lose to someone like Skullion or Madmole or even Larcade, simply because they are stronger. For me power trumps anything, regardless of if hax works on you or doesn't, if you are stronger you will still win one way or another. There could be certain exceptions to this, but this is generally how i see it.

Virginity is the criteria for the AoE Pleasure, the tentacles have the same effect but with limited range, and no requirements to be effective. At least that's what I saw from his use on Yukino. Even RIP could be straight resisted by Natsu to the point where Larcade needed Zeref to finish the job. We've seen that all of Larcade's magic can be resisted one way or another, Pleasure in particular. I'd also say Larcade would get pummeled to death before his magic got the chance to do any real damage to END, given how he slaughtered DImaria.

Ice Kamui only really works on melee fighters. And even if Invel is fighting a melee fighter, they'd only need to use an attack more powerful than Base Gray's ordinary punch to destroy it. The freezing aspect doesn't really impress me either, given that characters so often bust out of ice. I have no reason to think someone like Ajeel couldn't bust out of that ice as easily as he busted out of Gray's DeS ice. DeS ice>=Invel's ice.

As I recall Neinhart specifically says he's calling on his own Historia.
For August, yeah, there's a lot of shit August coulda done.

I agree with you on Larcade but I want to see more from Skullion and Madmole. Both of them should be able to tank any attack she puts out, but whether they can actually break Age Seal is another matter. I guess it comes down to whether you think greater MP specifically is what breaks hax or if its just enough to be generally superior - since I still think no one has surpassed the Spriggans in MP yet.
For me power trumps anything, regardless of if hax works on you or doesn't, if you are stronger you will still win one way or another. There could be certain exceptions to this, but this is generally how i see it.
Tbh this might usually be the case, it would certainly help to explain BS moments like "Because she's Erza!".

That being said, the Alvarez arc makes this hard to believe given that so many of the Spriggans' defeats were caused by people being immune to their hax. Take Jacob for example, the only reason the war didn't end when he walked in to the guild was PIS, Lucy's anti-Spacial techniques (referring to Gemini) and Marin being manipulated. Outside of that Jacob would have killed everyone and secured FH. That part about PIS applies to multiple Spriggans too - had the Spriggans all been bloodlusted then I'm confident they would have killed anyone bar Natsu/Laxus/Jellal/Gildarts, their skill sets are just too broken.

Oh, I know that, what I meant was that the AoE Pleasure seems to be far more effective than the tentacles. With Kagura she could at least actually fight once she inflicted pain on herself because she severed the tentacles almost immediately, but for anyone who Larcade doesn't need the tentacles for? That is not the case. The second the pain stops the Pleasure Magic will just begin again.

Basically AoE Pleasure > Tentacles because the Pleasure should only be off-set for a small moment before it begins again in the case of someone hurting themselves. Thus the likes of Laxus and Gildarts aren't guaranteed to be able to escape the way Kagura did.
Even RIP could be straight resisted by Natsu to the point where Larcade needed Zeref to finish the job.

Sorry I can't just copy the actual image, but if you look at pages 17 and 18 its clear Larcade didn't need Zeref to kill Natsu. He was gifting Zeref with an easier way to kill him.

Also I don't think Natsu resisting Larcade's RIP here is much of a mark against him when you consider the condition Larcade was in.
We've seen that all of Larcade's magic can be resisted one way or another, Pleasure in particular.
While they can technically be resisted, I think actually resisting it is a lot harder than it first sounds.

I've covered Pleasure so I'll start with Hunger. While the cannibalistic side of Hunger can be resisted well enough to not just literally eat another person, the exhaustion side of it doesn't really seem to be affected. Sting mentions himself that he can't build any significant strength up. He also goes from hitting Larcade with a series of attacks to missing hits, not using spells and generally being slapped around. From what we can tell the only reason this didn't continue was because Rogue showed up and gave him food in the form of his Magic.

As for RIP, this is the weirdest one of the three tbh. It seems damn near impossible to find a permanent way to reverse the effects besides beating Larcade, but it also looks to be the slowest of the three. We've seen from both Natsu and Sting that physical pain doesn't really do anything, and Sting in particular beat himself until he was bloody so its unlikely they just weren't inflicting enough pain. Even using Magic that enhances senses doesn't seem to work since Rogue mentioned that despite the shadows enhancing Sting's senses, it likely wouldn't last.

Something else I would mention is that even resisting the first two aren't going to be enough because once Hunger is cast Larcade can freely use his Light Blades or his cross. And while the Light Blades don't really have feats, the cross did manage to hurt Sting pretty badly. Its not going to be easy to dodge these attacks either.
I'd also say Larcade would get pummeled to death before his magic got the chance to do any real damage to END, given how he slaughtered DImaria.
Didn't E.N.D blindside DiMaria?
Ice Kamui only really works on melee fighters.

Again, sorry I can't find normal scans, If you look at page 12 Invel says Kamui freezes all it touches. If we're to believe Invel then this would apply to spells too, so it does have uses against ranged fighters.
And even if Invel is fighting a melee fighter, they'd only need to use an attack more powerful than Base Gray's ordinary punch to destroy it.
Fair point!

Gray's DeS ice being better than Invel's isn't really confirmed IMO, hell at one point Invel flat out stops one of his DeS attacks and creates a snow storm.

The only real advantage (that we know of) DeS has over Invel is that it flat out can't be melted.
As I recall Neinhart specifically says he's calling on his own Historia.
I've had a look and all I can find is Neinhart saying the Historias will be tough to maintain, nothing about whether or not they were his.

Generally superior is what I believe.

Alvarez makes me believe the opposite tbh. Jacob couldn't even beat Mirajane, despite having that great hax. You can call it PiS or whatever, but we have no way of knowing if he used Transport or not, the way I see it the stronger opponent simply won.

Seemed to be as powerful/effective on Yukino as AoE was on everyone else. Kagura supposedly overcame it with simple pain, I don't see why that same method wouldn't work for everyone else with the AoE version. Or why they simply couldn't power through it like Eileen did, or like Sting did with Hunger.

Sorry I can't just copy the actual image, but if you look at pages 17 and 18 its clear Larcade didn't need Zeref to kill Natsu. He was gifting Zeref with an easier way to kill him.

It didn't look like it had any chance of bringing down Natsu to me, looked like kinda a joke to him. It also couldn't even kill or K.O the likes of Rogue, even after he was heavily injured and lost all his MP, Kagura could even still use magic. It's just a very underwhelming magic imo, honestly it seems like the magic itself is all talk, much like Larcade himself is(all that I'm a secret weapon against Acno nonsense).

I've covered Pleasure so I'll start with Hunger. Is it really that bad though? It barely seemed to have any effect on Sting. Apply Hunger to Gildart's or Jellal, I'd still have them mid diff Larcade, if that. Assuming they don't oneshot him off the bat, which I think they could do if they went all out.

Both the cross and light blades are pretty mediocre. Light blades were blocked by Kagura easily. Cross did alright damage to Base Sting, when you hit him with it a couple of times on top of other attacks, but it's not like Sting is at the top of the food chain or anywhere close to it. I don't have Larcade surviving long enough to use hunger against END or Gray or anyone on their level anyway.

Didn't E.N.D blindside DiMaria?

No? At least probably not. She said he could move through her time, which says to me she saw him coming and used Age Seal. I also doubt he wouldn't have been making noise as he busted out of his chair etc. Dimaria crapping her pants at the mere sight/memory of him also tells me it doesn't make a difference.

Again, sorry I can't find normal scans, If you look at page 12 Invel says Kamui freezes all it touches. If we're to believe Invel then this would apply to spells too, so it does have uses against ranged fighters.

Fair point!

Eh, to be fair we're talking about freezing power so strong that it was affecting Gray.

Also, freezing power so strong that it took Natsu a while to burn through.

Gray's DeS ice being better than Invel's isn't really confirmed IMO, hell at one point Invel flat out stops one of his DeS attacks and creates a snow storm.

The only real advantage (that we know of) DeS has over Invel is that it flat out can't be melted.
Sure, it could prob freeze some spells, but if the spell is as powerful as base Gray's punch then it's getting shattered regardless. It also presents no threat to the ranged opponent, which was my actual point.
For Natsu, I just take that as Natsu watching Gray fight, we know he was listening in. In reality Natsu can burn his fire so hot that it unfroze Lucy and Juvia instantaneously.
Gray's DeS Ice is better than Invel's imo because he can't shatter it, but its true they clashed evenly after Invel realized what it was so they could be equal, which would still mean Ajeel can break out of it since he broke out of Gray's. Besides, if base Gray has the physical might to shatter Invel's strongest Ice Attack, Ice Kamui, with a single punch, then any character with comparable physical strength should be able to shatter any Ice Invel imprisons them with. So prob not Ajeel, but characters like Gajeel, Erza, maybe Mira, etc could all do it, probably.

I've had a look and all I can find is Neinhart saying the Historias will be tough to maintain, nothing about whether or not they were his.
Is that right? My mistake then.

Generally superior is what I believe.
Yeah, I think our way of ranking power is definitely the key issue.
Alvarez makes me believe the opposite tbh. Jacob couldn't even beat Mirajane, despite having that great hax. You can call it PiS or whatever, but we have no way of knowing if he used Transport or not, the way I see it the stronger opponent simply won.
What suggests to me that he didn't use Transport is that Mira has absolutely no Spacial Magic to counter it. As we saw in the guild Spacial Magic was the only reason Natsu, Lucy and Happy didn't get snatched up.

You say the stronger opponent won but tbh I'm not seeing that at all. Jacob was fighting blind and for some reason just conveniently didn't use his main Magic that would have instantly won the fight. Yes, Mira had her own disadvantage in that she had only a fraction of her usual MP but I would say that disadvantage is almost entirely off-set when your opponent can't see.

At the end of day we can just look at their skill sets:

Jacob: Perfect stealth, weapons expert, Transport (AKA "I win" button)

Mira: Satan Souls (don't want to sound like I'm lowballing here, Satan Souls are powerful but not comparable to the hax of Transport)

I'm just not seeing someone who had to go all out against Spriggan lieutenants winning against a non-hindered, non-PIS Spriggan like Jacob.
Seemed to be as powerful/effective on Yukino as AoE was on everyone else. Kagura supposedly overcame it with simple pain, I don't see why that same method wouldn't work for everyone else with the AoE version.
The actual intensity isn't what I'm trying to say is better, I'm talking specifically about the effectiveness of pain as an escape. With the tentacles its possible to actually free yourself from their grasp during the brief bit of clarity pain brings whereas with the AoE version there's nothing stopping the spell from just continuing once the immediate pain has stopped.
Or why they simply couldn't power through it like Eileen did, or like Sting did with Hunger.
I've had a look and saying Irene powered through it is an exaggeration IMO, since she only endures it for a page or two and then Zeref gets Larcade to stop.

As for Sting, the bit that he powered through (cannibalism) isn't really useful in a 1 vs 1, and he was noticeably weaker when he tried to attack Larcade.
It didn't look like it had any chance of bringing down Natsu to me, looked like kinda a joke to him.
The man was trying so hard to stay alert to the point that he was punching himself in the head.
It also couldn't even kill or K.O the likes of Rogue, even after he was heavily injured and lost all his MP, Kagura could even still use magic.
Admittedly this is a weird thing with RIP. I personally think RIP is timed since that at least makes Natsu, Sting, Rogue and Kagura all staying conscious for the same amount of time somewhat logical. That's just my theory though.
It's just a very underwhelming magic imo
Tbh much like many of the Spriggans hax, RIP's biggest weakness (narratively) is that it would have forced Hiro to kill a character.

And we know Hiro doesn't kill good guys in the Alvarez arc (laughs in Gajeel)
honestly it seems like the magic itself is all talk, much like Larcade himself is(all that I'm a secret weapon against Acno nonsense).
Ehhhhhh... if you're talking about RIP specifically then fair enough.

Even then though, while Larcade vs Acnologia has a very obvious conclusion, I do think people aren't inventive enough when imagining what Larcade's use actually was. IMO Zeref's plan was never to actually have Zeref anywhere near Acnologia, rather in the worst case scenario he was going to fight Acno himself and then have Larcade use Pleasure/Hunger/RIP (whatever is needed) to weaken/potentially kill him.

After all, unlike many of the hax in Fairy Tail we can at the very least say that Pleasure does not have a point where it stops affecting people. So while his "I'm the ultimate Wizard/the only one who can beat Acnologia" may be arrogant, at the same time I don't necessarily think he's all that wrong either. This is assuming his Magic would actually surpass Acno's Magic resistance though... oh well, that's a whole other beast of a debate.
Is it really that bad though? It barely seemed to have any effect on Sting.
I disagree here, Sting went from hitting Larcade with physical attacks and spells to getting slapped around.
Apply Hunger to Gildart's or Jellal, I'd still have them mid diff Larcade, if that. Assuming they don't oneshot him off the bat, which I think they could do if they went all out.
Agreed on them being able to one-shot them if they go all in from the start.

The Hunger point is hard to prove on my end since base Sting isn't exactly a good comparison to the likes of Jellal and Gildarts just due to the sheer difference in power, but I'll try my best. So straight off the bat I'm going to say that Hunger is pretty much pointless on anyone who has a great ranged attack, so Laxus and Jellal are out of this.

Its someone like Gildarts who relies purely on, magically enhanced or not, CQC that makes the water murky. Now Gildarts is powerful enough for me to comfortably agree that any of his magically enhanced attacks should severely injure if not outright one-shot Larcade. But I would argue that the hit would actually need to connect for it to deal that level of damage and that is where I think Hunger comes in. We've already seen what happened with Sting, for someone like Gildarts his punches becoming less accurate could be the difference between quickly ending the fight or letting Larcade get some hits in. Now I'm not saying Hunger alone is what could cost him the match, rather that the opportunities opened by Hunger might.
Good points!

Only thing I disagree on is Larcade not lasting long against E.N.D, but that's more because I have no idea where I rank E.N.D.

E.N.D didn't really particularly impress me (one-shotting base DiMaria isn't that great of a feat IMO), but at the same time it did manage to give DeS Gray a seemingly even fight, and we know that Slayer advantage is immense when it comes to Demons vs DeS...

I reckon E.N.D would win but mainly because Larcade just can't do much to it.
No? At least probably not. She said he could move through her time, which says to me she saw him coming and used Age Seal. I also doubt he wouldn't have been making noise as he busted out of his chair etc. Dimaria crapping her pants at the mere sight/memory of him also tells me it doesn't make a difference.
Ah right, I was just making sure because I couldn't remember if it was ever clarified.
Sure, it could prob freeze some spells, but if the spell is as powerful as base Gray's punch then it's getting shattered regardless. It also presents no threat to the ranged opponent, which was my actual point.
How powerful do you reckon base Gray's punch is? Genuine question because I have no idea.
For Natsu, I just take that as Natsu watching Gray fight, we know he was listening in. In reality Natsu can burn his fire so hot that it unfroze Lucy and Juvia instantaneously.
Wait, so you think Natsu could have broken out sooner but didn't?
Gray's DeS Ice is better than Invel's imo because he can't shatter it, but its true they clashed evenly after Invel realized what it was so they could be equal, which would still mean Ajeel can break out of it since he broke out of Gray's.
Fair enough.
Agreed, though I think Mira would have to be in Alegria to break it.
Is that right? My mistake then.
Well honestly I'm not sure tbh, I just didn't find anything to suggest they were his own Historias.

With that being said though, Historia of the Dead would make way more sense being S12 level Magic if he could bring back his own Historias.

Yeah, I think our way of ranking power is definitely the key issue.

She doesn't really need Spacial magic to counter. Transport seems to travel horizontally, Mira can fly. Her dodging Transport shouldn't really be an issue unless he can make the blast wave invisible, which he may or may not be able to do.
Beating Jacob with Base Satan Soul/human form seems like enough of a handicap for me to say the fight with Jacob was even.
As for Juliet and Hyne, seems kinda dumb that Satan Souls offense can put down Jacob, but no a couple of swords, but I just take that as Mira wanting to end the battle quickly and not anticipating the arrival of another even stronger enemy.

I've had a look and saying Irene powered through it is an exaggeration IMO, since she only endures it for a page or two and then Zeref gets Larcade to stop.
Sure, that makes sense, the tentacles being cutable is certainly a weakness, but you should be able to do the same thing by simply attacking Larcade rather than the tentacles.

Is it an exaggeration? Sure she was feeling the effects of the magic, but it didn't seem like there was any chance of her going down. She could still react to Erza and shoot magic at her. And thats what I believe other characters could do, they'd be weakened, but they could still do their job. Attack stuff, etc

As for Sting, the bit that he powered through (cannibalism) isn't really useful in a 1 vs 1, and he was noticeably weaker when he tried to attack Larcade.

The man was trying so hard to stay alert to the point that he was punching himself in the head.

Admittedly this is a weird thing with RIP. I personally think RIP is timed since that at least makes Natsu, Sting, Rogue and Kagura all staying conscious for the same amount of time somewhat logical. That's just my theory though.

Tbh much like many of the Spriggans hax, RIP's biggest weakness (narratively) is that it would have forced Hiro to kill a character.

And we know Hiro doesn't kill good guys in the Alvarez arc (laughs in Gajeel)

Ehhhhhh... if you're talking about RIP specifically then fair enough.

I disagree here, Sting went from hitting Larcade with physical attacks and spells to getting slapped around.
Yeah, Natsu was also telling himself not to sleep on the job. Didn't really seem to take the attack seriously. The way he was punching himself was pretty comical too. I mean if Kagura can use her magic through RIP, I'd say Natsu could probably have killed Larcade right then and there.

True, using Larcade from range would be a good strategy for Zeref.

Well I'd say Gildarts could probably shred Larcade like he did August.

Good points!

I reckon E.N.D would win but mainly because Larcade just can't do much to it.

Ah right, I was just making sure because I couldn't remember if it was ever clarified.
Well I think END is powerful because I probably rate Gray higher than you do. After seeing Dimaria and Invel getting slaughtered by these too I just don't see Larcade doing any better, even if he is decently stronger, especially if they go all out.

How powerful do you reckon base Gray's punch is? Genuine question because I have no idea.
About as strong as the punches Natsu used to beat enchanted Neinhart.

Wait, so you think Natsu could have broken out sooner but didn't?
Sure, if his fire is hot enough to instantly unfreeze the people in his general vicinity, then he should have been able to unfreeze himself any time he wanted. Imo Mashima just wanted to show off Gray for a bit before the Juvia section.

Fair enough.

Agreed, though I think Mira would have to be in Alegria to break it.

Yeah, you'd think so, but you can never be too disappointed with Neinhart.

Gildarts did not shred August though, and he did get roughed up by Historia God Serena, especially with Invel able to freeze Natsu’s flames, Gray was the only one who could have handled him at the time, if Invel had not tried to make Gray stronger to take on END, he would have won.

There are other threads like this so I made my own.

Makarov wants to make a list on who the strongest of his guild in a top 10.

Heres what I think:

1) Gildarts

T-2) Laxus

T-2) Natsu

4) Gray

5) Erza

6) Gajeel

7) Mira (Depending on how she does rn)

8) Lucy

9) Wendy

10) Freed

Then Like Thunder Tribe, Elfman, Juvia Etc.

Difficult one here is Gray and Erza. Gray has stronger Magic with DeS and amazing Versatility with Ice-Make.

However Erza has Second Origin and Nakagami Armour. Also she amazing versatility with all her Armour.

Could change depending on the arguments.

Bloodman isn't that strong to begin with. It's only because you can't touch him that he seems to be OP. Once Gajeel matched him, he fodderized Bloodman.

Ajeel is a perfect counter to Erza anyways. He's a sand wizard and Erza relies on swords and physical attacks which don't him as much.

Erza keeping up with Irene also>> Gajeel defeating Bloodman.

How is Ajeel weaker?
One was defeated by Elfman, Lisanna & the other defeated sabertooth and gived difficulties in historia to Rogue.

Sabertooth is 99.99 percent fodder and Rogue is nothing special either. The only people from that guild that are actually relevant in terms of power are Minerva and WDSM Sting.

It doesn't matter, Erza's fight trumps anything Gajeel did.

Sabertooth are definetely stronger than Elfman & Lisanna.
That doesn't change the fact that Erza without Wendy lost against Ajeel and Gajeel defeated Bloodman who has better feats than Ajeel.
