zeref showed no attack that can actually one-shot CS ( or at least jellal & midnight). jellal still got defensive spells up his sleeve (barrier he used against acno & mystogan's Mirror water which reflected dorma anim's dragon roar (he used it against jura iirc). same with midnight whose magic can change anything's direction.

and their durability is quite good since midnight tanked GC with no damage. & jellal was still looking fine after getting squished by dragon form acno for at least more than 10 secs. specially when acno easily killed alive God Serena with his mere physical strength.

without FH, zeref was going toe-to-toe with base natsu, unable to finish him. if that's zeref's got then there's no way he can beat them.
unless he used his ankhseram hax or i don't know what it is.

Didn't Zeref show the ability to kill at least two people before on Tenrou? With his healing and all, he should be able to at some point cause enough amage to take them down.

Well it's understandable. Jellal dedicated himself to take down Zeref from the first-time skip and did some dedicated training to take down Zeref it seems so he should have at least fought Zeref once instead of Acno just to see how far his training will take against Zeref.

To this day I still don't see the reasoning behind wanking him this much. Meredy was right there with him that doesn't mean she wouldn't be stomped as well. He got beat up by August with OS...and got oneshotted by Neinheart who was twoshotted by Base Natsu while enhanced. Zeref fought IgNatsu to a stand still, immobilized Natsu to point he needed DF to get out, and eye flicked DF Natsu who went on a full frontal assualt against Zeref. By all acounts Zeref should stomp without even using his hax like death magic or timestop. It's crazy that a God tier would lose to a lower end high tier.

First of all , he wasn't "kicking his ass". Second of all , there wasn't use of any magic in the fight. Zeref is known for being an exceptionally strong wizard , not puncher. And third , when Zeref actually used a proper spell , Natsu was completely overwhelmed and was forced to go Dragon Force because of one casual spell. Dragon Force is not the same as Base Natsu , this is the form in which he wrecked Animus , who was powered with Dragon Cry , the strength of multiple dragons. And Zeref is above him. This was not even using all the other hax spells I mentioned he is capable of using , just one immoblizing spell.

Law was capable of oneshotting the Tenrou Dragon.

He can stop time and oneshot people.

He enchanted Irene into a human from a dragon in an instant.

Irene required so much time to take Fairy Heart , he did it in seconds.

He used spatial magic to close the rift gate from the guild itself.

Not to mention his demon , Larcade , would floor CS , since he was capable of flooring Gildarts and Laxus too. Zeref isn't even needed.

The fact that some actually think Zeref would lose to CS is kekworthy , when they don't even check the context of the fight. Larcade would floor CS , let alone Zeref.
