Oh yeah, a lot of people do not get that this is relative and chapter only specific. That is how Ne0lation managed to be in Top 5 for Ch. 8 I believe in these polls.

I do admit that Ne0 Ch.8 was its best chapter by a huge margin. Maybe even of the best non Chainsaw newbie chapters this year. If only that manga was like that chapter...

Nah, ne0 vs Gevaudan aka Mind Games: The Chapter. Now that I glance over it again, the chapter art was top notch as well.

Put Yuuna too, the chapters are translated super fast and release at mondays most of time.

Also, i think should be 5, 3 is just too little considering many people read almost all series released, so i think it would be way too centered in the most populars with just 3 choices

This is funny now. I disliked like 90% of it's chapters, but ironically for me, this week's Kamio Yui deserves much more than just 1 vote on our MH poll (that was the state when I last looked). So I did a support vote switch (sorry, Black Clover!) as it was close to being Top 3 for me anyways.

Basically only one person chose 1 manga, the rest all did 3.

You can't, at least not now. It will give you a message "You may select up to 3 choices!"
Also it's my bad for the post up, that one person gave a vote to 1 manga only and not 4 like I said. I even put the equation correctly and I still screwed the text. RIP. So it was never possible to do more than 3.

I assume there will be a reveal of who the mysterious person from the early chapter is. Maybe we get a Tai vs Sei in some form before the "this is just the beginning" ending for the pro matches

I'm super curious to see what's going to happen next. My new goal for Double Taisei is for it to survive until at least Issue 1. Definite top 3 of the week material right there. The next big winner for me this week was Mitama. Now that was a brilliant development that I never imagined the author would take. It cleverly adds another gag that can easily be incorporated into any chapter pretty naturally, and in my opinion, is really funny.

To clarify a bit, the way this will work is that we'll randomize the order of the series in these polls until we get to the 8th poll.

At that point, we'll start listing series based on the results of this poll. This will continue every time after as well. 2nd poll results for poll #9, etc.

The idea is to be as authentic as possible to the way WSJ does it with their ToC. The only difference is, there will be NO editorial dickery. Votes will be the only consideration for MH ToC placements.

I'm not sure we want to go that route. And no, no commentary in that thread. You are allowed to discuss those polls in this thread, but again, the topicality rules I mentioned a while back still apply.

I think it's cool that the system is closer to WSJ's system. The dilemma over what deserves Top 3 is now just as real here as it is over there.

Will not be able to accept any non BL type pairing for Tokyo Shinobi Squad as canon. Sounds like three dudes love Jin and Jin to them as well.

Where will new series be placed when they finally premiere once all of the older series become ordered by prior votes? At the top or bottom?

I'm thinking the bottom, but we'll add an asterisk or whatever so the reasoning is apparent. They won't be bottom because of a lack of popularity, but because they're not ranked.

Maybe you can follow the actual ToCs position until then? So, first chapter is #1, second is around ~#5 and so on, until it gets enough chapters to be ranked here.
