Shonen Jump coming back to being totally unpredictable lol but is kinda strange, 2 series? it would be perfect to release 3 new series on #1, #2 and #3, and is pretty obvious that none of these 2 series is the magic school one, judging by the last work and the title, Agravity is quite about space, but what was Zippo about?
zippo was about mecha, but from the preview it seems that will not follow this theme.

Most probably yeah. TSS and Beast Children might go on until like March or April cause it's when spring starts.
Letting these flops last until potentially April.... Beast Children would be close to closing in on its 1 year anniversary, considering how terribly they're performing there is no reason for them to stay in the magazine that long. Both will most likely be axed within the next few weeks

Welp, RIP Taisei. Hope Fukuda comes back, whether it's in Jump+ or Jump proper, prepared and with a subject he cares about more than shogi.

I never got into Kamio, but the art looked nice.

Called it.

Quality always survives. #TeamTokyoShinobiSquad remains vigilant and strong. Lets pray volume sales are reflective of its quality.

I'm excited. Great news indeed.
I cant wait for TSS doujin events, the JinEn content will be godly.

It's Nakano, we never know what the man is thinking so we need to get ready for anything and everything.

Damn, I didn't expect Yui Kamio and Double Taisei ending. I guess the former ran out of time and the latter was because it was technically the longest running out of the three yet it's not beating out Tokyo Shinobi Squad in sales? I find it a weird choice, honestly.

My friend'll be happy about Beast Children surviving, at least! :)

EDIT: What if they plan on keeping Beast Children around so that they have something for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics? It'll probably wont happen, but hey, ya never know.

LOOK AT WHO CALLED A TWO BATCH, WITH DOUBLE TAISEI AND YUI KAMIO BEING THE SERIES AXED

IT WAS MEEEEE

Outcome 1: A batch of two new series starting with Issue #1 2020. Double Taisei and Yui Kamio Lets Loose conclude in issues #52 and #1 respectively, but not necessarily in that order. Byakuya Reboot ends in late January 2020 and is replaced by one-shots or Hunter x Hunter. Another batch of anywhere from 3-6 series gets introduced in late February or early-mid March of 2020. We Never Learn, The Promised Neverland, and at least one of Beast Children / TSS end, possibly accompanied by other series like Demon Slayer.
I didn't call them ending in the same issue, but this feels close enough that I'll take it.

Nakano worst EiC ever, rushing Kamio Yui this way when is by far the best selling and also ending the best out of three newbies and letting the other two safe for more time for whatever reason, do this guy even know what he's doing? because it's one questionable decision after one, i'm really pissed right now -_-
Those kind of decisions aren't made by a EIC alone but between all the editors. lol

They'll have Haikyu!! which will be coming off of its 4th season right before the start of the Olympics so they'll be fine regarding that, and I dont see any scenario in which Beast Children survives from MAY 2019 - AUGUST 2020 :derp

Beast Children is probably ending in next issue, same volume extended price at 480 yen as with Taisei.

They will leave that spot for oneshots.

And honestly, I could see TSS go in #2.

18 series plus Jump+ special chapters plus oneshots is certainly a doable thing, it's time for December volumes after all.

You're making Nakano looks even worse, i don't know what is going on with Shonen Jump and this shortage of mangas, just start new series ffs, isn't possible that SJ of all manga magazines doesn't have a long line of authors willing to be serialized lol

He's the one with the final say.

I think he means that there's gonna more be special Jump+ tie-in chapters to go with the volumes coming out. That has become a theme with quite a few manga.

but what if everything currently is even lower quality than the stuff running? Would you rather they ran literal ax fodder that could have been good if it went through a few more drafts than let some stuff run longer than it should? I don't get why everyone is obsessed with Jump letting series run too long when up until now they were complaining Jump didn't give enough time to stuff before axing it. What's a good amount of time to run a series before cancelling it?

Yes, but i'm talking about the overall situation that is going on for months, this shortage of mangas on Jump as if they don't have stuff to publish

Hmm, i didn't get much of the point, what i'm saying is just release new series instead of working under a lower number of mangas like Shonen Jump is doing this year, SJ always kept a good flow of new series and the number at 20, at most 21, now is 18 with a lot of big flops running for only Nakano knows how long.
