They published 11 new series in this publication year (not counting Dr. Stone spin-off), the same with last year. There's no shortage of series. Just shortage of series that's good enough to survive.
I'm saying shortage of series being published at the same time, not total of new series, talk about misunderstanding comments two times in a row lolHell, it is the same with 2016 and 2017, 11 new series in one publication year (and 2015 had 12 new series). Stop talking without checking fact first.

So, third time in a row? Jesus Christ man, i literally answered OtterBrigade talking about Jump publishing only 18 series for a good part of 2019, you only had to read the comments kkkkkkSo what is your point? What is shortage in this case? So you want jump to axed stuff early to publish more than 11 manga this year? Your point is vague as heck. Maybe so you can easily bend and defense it. Axed 2 or manga at the same time is perfectly normal after a bad year for newbies.

Ehhh everybody here knows that Shonen Jump has a limit of basically 21 series being published at the same time and the standard number is 20 series at same time, i believe you weere already in this thread when members were talking about Jump working with less mangas than usual, and 18 isn't a big number, in fact is a short number compared to all the other magazines specially the shounen ones. What is wrong with "just" 18 series? That's already a big number. And you don't even reply to my second post.
If you can provide facts to prove wsj used to publish more than 18 in the past then your argument would be more credible. So far all of your points seem like presonal opinion and grudge against Nak without anything to back them up.
Not really. He said that it was 2 series that were very often at the bottom of the rankings. Not the last 2 series of the ranking of the 52nd issueEdited it a while ago. Ryokutya was saying bottom two series were axed, guess he was mistaken.

So I just counted the current toc. There is total 20 entries in the list. Then I ran back to a random issue from the past (issue 15, 2017) https://comicvine.gamespot.com/weekly-shonen-jump-2402-no-15-march-27-2017/4000-585795/ , and found out there is only 19 entries in that issue. Unless you could create a spreadsheet list all number of entries in wsj issue. How can I know if you are actually using fact or that your confirmation bias?Ehhh everybody here knows that Shonen Jump has a limit of basically 21 series being published at the same time and the standard number is 20 series at same time, i believe you weere already in this thread when members were talking about Jump working with less mangas than usual, and 18 isn't a big number, in fact is a short number compared to all the other magazines specially the shounen ones.
That issue where Gintama was absent (19), Boruto didn't have the monthly chapter (20) and Robot x Laserbeam started in the next issue with nothing ending for a good time (21). 21 series being published, 20 if you don't want to count monthly BorutoSo I just counted the current toc. That... doesn't look like the robot police one-shot.So I found a bigger image of Zipman, with also a preview of Agravity Boys, def is to small to tell, tho to me at first glance I thought it was a sports manga lol

And he likes to put zippers in uniforms / robots design.That... doesn't look like the robot police one-shot.
I guess Shibata just likes titles that start with the word "Zip"?
Seeing Taisei's final chapter at the very bottom of the TOC hurts. It really should be where Beast Children is at least. Seeing Double Taisei and Yui Kamio end before Beast Children and TSS is a bummer. Hopefully those 2 will both end in issue 1 or something since neither of the other series in the preview seemed all that interesting to me, so I hope another 2 new series are on the way as well.Toc #52

Sadly, it doesn’t look like it’s about Mechs anymoreSo I found a bigger image of Zipman, with also a preview of Agravity Boys, def is to small to tell, tho to me at first glance I thought it was a sports manga (I mean AB btw) lol

Being a mecha was kinda its main appeal tbh lol, really hope Shibata knows what he's doingSadly, it doesn’t look like it’s about Mechs anymore
I...doubt Samurai 8 is going to get axed. It underperforming based on their expectations is pretty undermined by the fact that nothing else from 2019 sans Chainsaw Man sold even close to what it does. Now I guess it would be soon time for TSS, beast children and Samurai 8 to get axed
