Undead+Unuck was strange. The MC is pretty much the aborted love child of Dark Schneider and Youpi, but the main girl seems pretty cute. Art wasn't really a issue for me given I can't draw at all, but I kind of admired the roughness of it. We'll just have to wait and see how much changes for the serialization.

I honestly wouldn’t even be surprised if one of the other two new manga this batch was a romcom, might as well start testing the waters now, Bokuben has really only a volume left I bet.

Undead Unluck to me looks more like something from a seinen magazine lol, the whole groping thing may get toned down for when it starts serilalization

I wasn't expecting another 200k for KNY 18.

KNY 18 is almost 3x MHA 25
Ya'll remember when people argued "Another million seller is not possible and MHA was the highest a series can get today" in an attempt to defend the numbers of other series. And then came KNY.


Wait, it's not even stabilizing? The drop between 22 and 25 is actually pretty big.
25 even had more days than 23 and 24.

If only MHA had a good anime adaptation, it would have been a 1.5 million seller like KNY.

MHA does have a good anime adaptation?????

Nanatsu no Taizai has things like that (or worse), but is a Shonen.

So I don't think that behavior is outside of what a Shonen can show.

I really like the sketchy art style from Undead Unluck. Hoping the zombie character gets an updated design. Love the MC’s design though. And agree that hopefully the groping jokes are toned down at least.
I don’t have enough faith in the manga/anime industry for those jokes to removed all together

This cover is a bit confusing. Senku all the way at the back?.... Tanjirou not in the big 3 position. Asta is way bigger than I expected to be but I ain't complaining. I thoygh chainsaw, JK and AA would be infront of TON though. And just look a little bigger. There must be no room everything is a hit!!!

Finally! Love some new series! Especially with what's ending this year, something from this batch may very well survive. Though, Undead+Unluck does not feel not a Jump manga at all. Also, is it just me or is the art kind of rough? Really curious about what the serialized version's gonna look like, hopefully it's better.

I just don’t find the humor of Groping and pervy characters all that funny. Well for the later, I don’t mind characters like Denji.
But characters that are perverted to such a degree that they’re basically harassing and assaulting the female characters in the series is always bothersome to me.

However, that character is pretty much a trope in manga and anime, which is what I mean in “I don’t have faith”. I don’t think the female character being assaulted and groped in Undead Unluck will seem as much a problem from shuiesha

You guys are taking the positions on the group cover way too seriously. It's not like there are rules set in stone that have to be adhered to, but rather a general rule of thumb.

Generally speaking, I'm assuming Senku's position is just because of Inagaki's sudden break.

Anyway, I'm baffled as to why everyone is reacting as if this is evident of Jump losing its way or something. The editorial have always been gamblers, and the key belief of Shueisha's managing director is series which are able to stand out. This is just business as usual.

Guess nobody posted this yet, which probably explains everything.

Shueisha just probably gave the series a break in order to adjust everything and give Inagaki time to solve the issue properly without rushing. This would also kind of? explain why Senku is so off-screen, he's basically not in the issue because of a last-minute decision.

I hope the premise of the new series gets tweaked a little bit, otherwise, I'm not sure how long the series could even be stretched out for. The girl's design was nice, but besides that, nothing else really jumped out at me as interesting or appealing. I'm a bit surprised that Tokyo Horror series wasn't serialized instead of this given that it got 2 oneshots, unless that ends up being one of the next 2 series.

Senku at the end is really strange. Maybe WSJ stopped to try to promote the series like they did with BC after years where it was along Haikyuu, MHA and OP on covers.

At the rate Kimetsu is growing I'm expecting Volume 19 (if not, then volume 20 for sure) to have a first print of 2 million copies, I also wouldn't be too surprised if the series has 35 million copies in circulation by February or March, which would be absolutely insane considering Kimetsu no Yaiba only had 5 million copies in circulation back in April (Volume 15)
