It really doesn't matter since the only thing that got over 50 chapters on 2010 in Shonen Jump was Enigma, so for Jump the decade started 2011 kkkkk

Shonen Jump itself is treating 2020 as the start of a new decade, so...

I mean, it's pretty pointless anyway IMO, since Jump only got 17 hits out this decade. You'd need to do a list of 100 manga from the entire industry like I've been doing in order to have a conclusive discussion about the 2010s.

"On par" doesn't mean better, it means at the level, and i mean that since Kashin Koji introduction, the manga has been on the level of some of the arcs of the original manga.

If you're talking about manga in general, anyone can make a Best/Favourite manga of the 2010's thread in the Otaku Cafe section. A similar thread was made for Anime already.

No, issue #8 leaks probably won't be out until the 15th or 16th. Leaks for #6/7 are so early because it comes out early on the 4th instead of the 6th, and they shipped it out well ahead of New Years so they could take time off without problems. Issue #8 wouldn't be coming out until the 20th, and not only do they have no reason to ship it out extra early, they'll probably actually need the extra time to get the issue ready as they get back up to speed after the holidays.

Judging from where they're currently up to, it looks like Mitama and Yozakura are both going to be approaching ch 30 before they're at risk of cancellation (since it's very unlikely for them to end in this batch with 3 empty spaces in the magazine).

I wonder how long it'll take for the magazine to normalise and start up the U19 club again, or if this is the new standard and every flop getting past ch 20 is just going to be a thing in the Reiwa era. The magazine being so lacking in new hits makes everything work a bit unpredictably.

I mean, if we assume Jump will launch just 11 new series (as is the standard it seems), then we could be looking at a situation where literally none of the series which debut this year get canceled until 2021. Even if we assume no, then we're still looking at a scenario where maybe just Zipman and Agravity get the axe towards the end of the year.

This could very well pile up on Jump depending on circumstances, because being left with pounds of dead weight is hardly optimal.
