What happens to a damaged body part of a zoan fruit user that is not present in their human form?
Like, both humans and leopards have ears, eyes, limbs. And of course the damage taken while they're in their zoan form also remains in their human form.

But what about things like tails and horns?

Say as a zoan you somehow lost your tail in an accident. Or no, even better example. You get it chopped off in a fight. Would you be able to at least stop the bleeding or slow it down considerably simply by transforming back into human?

Will your human body actually lose some flesh?

I don't know why but it bugs me.

I think the damage in the human body will be none or will left a scar in the place of the wound. But when you turn back to the hybrid form ou the animal form the missing tail or horn won’t be there

This part. Like if you yanked off Drakes tail and he goes back to human form he will just have a bloody spot by his ass and his dino form will look weird af cuz it has no tail not to mention his fighting capabilities will be affectes. Animals have tails to help them balance. I can imagine that will screw with people.

Also, anyone here ever read a pretty cool animal themed manga called TerraFormars? They emphasize how people regrow their limbs as they tap into their animal powers...however it does seem even mammals there regrow limbs as they transform, it's been a while since I last read the manga and it is still ongoing so I may be murky on what I just said. What I do know for sure is when they use their insect powers it definitely make sense for their limbs to come back because insects and other animals like crabs molt and they regrow claws. And lizards regrow tails. All that good stuff. So my ultimate answer to your question, Pea is this:

I think it depends on the specific Zoan. Doesn't make sense for Sengoku to regenerate an arm...can Buddhas do that shit? I mean in I've heard of it in folk stories and shows when I was younger but it is vague and seem like some chinese bs lore they add to buddhism. Anyhow, it depends on the Zoan. If you are an insect then you're pretty much in the clear and can regenerate. If you're lets say...a dog...then no lol.

I also want to touch on that this is also Oda's manga and he does things that will not make sense but will still be cool like how that chicken guy from the Big Mom pirates has 3 seperate forms and the wiki doesn't know how to classify his "zoanness" lol. Oda can create things that will not fit what I just said and that is actually pretty fantastic but for the most part I think what I did say makes sense.
