So, reading the new Zipman chapter, it's...fine, I guess? Like, it continues to be the series that does nothing objectively wrong, but nothing really spectacular or even noteworthy. The chapter has hinted at introducing more party members, which might be kinda more interesting, I guess? Still, I'll wait two more chapters to give a final judgement.

Finally could check out all the chapters of Zipman and Agravity and find the later way more fun to read.

The Agravity boys are a fun bunch and it reminds me kind of comedy like Grand Blue with a little bit of Sket Dance, its obviously a fujobait series but I dont mid it if it can keep up with the jokes. Im glad that Jump has 2 new great comedy series with Mitama and Agravity and hope that they have good sales reception. Now with Zipman, my biggest problem is that I still cant really feel a true brotherhood connection between the MCs, the art is nice, the designs are cool but the interactions arent there yet, hope it can change fo better.

Well something needs to be done eventually. The first volumes heavily underperformed compared to expectations and to the attention and push it got, it's constantly straight up at the bottom in the ToC and the third volume looks like it'll do even worse.

I think Samurai 8 either will be there like Hinomaruzumou was for years or it'll be transferred to other magazine. I don'tthink they will cancel it.

Agravity boys is the closest the jump has to the genre BL (Boy is love).

Everyone, I have an update in regards to the MH poll thread.

I've decided to let @Shinuki no Reborn create the MH poll thread, starting next mangaplus release. He will be responsible for creating the polls and archiving them going forward. The old thread will be deleted, but he'll repost all the previous poll results in his new topic.

I'm choosing him specifically because the poll was his idea, and he's been helping me with the poll behind the scenes. All the same rules will apply with the new poll, so nothing will change except for him creating the polls instead of the moderators. He has to be the TC in order to have the power to create polls. Also, he'd still have to get staff approval in order to make any changes, so that's not an issue.

by the way people were complaining I thought they delayed them to next week, but it was just a couple of days (probably gave the translators some days off for the holidays season)

the English version ignored Konjirou, the time fox oneshot, and iirc Viz ignored Vanguard of Archer too, maybe they don't consider Fujimaki a big enough name?

Vol 1 was from #30 to #43 and vol 2 from #40 to #49, so its obviously very tricky because we're talking solely about number positions, but volume 3 seems like it's doing same as vol 2 so far, which without any real promotion and the drop in the rankings, i take as something positive.

I thin it is good for Samurai 8 that the drop is small.

I kinda get them skipping his last one shot, since at that point I don't think they'd done their Kuroko release, but at this point they've released two series of his, seems really weird not to translate it. Guess they just don't see him as as big a draw as Matsui or Murata.
