Just now i realised that both Taisei and Beast Children last volumes didn't charted at all in the top 500, Taisei was from charting at #250 with vol 2 to no charting at all with vol 3 and TSS charted only 1 day at #348 while vol 2 started at #164.

What a sad ending for these 3...

I'm really curious to see the difference between JJK and BC this time. Also, S8 seems to be doing just as much as the previous volume? Now to see how it fares next week. CSM is doing nice as expected and always great to see. Also, I just checked and MHA's backlog charted nicely this week too, it's actually the best week MHA's backlog has had since S4 started.

I was thinking about how many series have come and gone since a decent hit (CSM).

Excluding the Stone reboot, and if nothing current (as well as the three upcoming series) really sticks, it'll be 15.

It would be the longest drought since:

Medaka Box (#24, 2009)
Nisekoi (#48, 2011)

Looks like 24 series in between those two.

Check the Top 50 for Kimetsu backlogs cause that's a craze right now. How long can Tanjiro keep this up? Volume 19's definitely gonna go toe-to-toe with One Piece at this rate. Also, the craziest thing is that Kimetsu managed to dethrone One Piece in end of year sales with about 12 million volumes - and we're not even three months into the new Oricon year and sales are already blowing past that. And this is before the fucking movie is out. I think Kimetsu's gonna be holding onto that number 1 spot for as long as it continues to run.

I think Samurai 8 either will be there like Hinomaruzumou was for years or it'll be transferred to other magazine. I don'tthink they will cancel it.

I don't know, I don't remember too well but I don't think zumou was sitting at the very bottom of the ToC the whole time.

I'm not saying they'll cancel it immediately, they'll probably try to atleast meddle in it somehow and see if something improves just because they've already dumped a lot of money in it. But if it keeps this trajectory it'll eventually be done.

Ah. That's a very bold and I'd imagine unpopular opinion pretty much anywhere(not to mention it has nothing to do with its supposed failure, but again, it's your opinion), but I'm not taking this thread off topic.
