A series I really want to see would be about game collecting. Sorta like the part in Hunter x Hunter were Gon and Killua research about Greed Island. I know that such a series would be incredibly niche, but i'd read the hell out of that.

Must be a really slow week for you guys trying so hard to make "sports" seems something complicated to classify kkkk

Give me a sports manga with actual superpowers. I want to see angels, demons, wizards, giants, mutants, aliens, etc. compete in teams against each other to see which team becomes the best of whichever sport they are playing.

That would be so cool. Like Inazuma 11 or Galatic football. However since a super powered sport ain't real it won't be a sports manga boohoo

My bet is KNY will own most of the top 10 of the best selling volumes of the year and the discrepancy between KNY and OP in accumulated sales will be huge.

Yeah, but are they the main focus of the story? Do the characters them selves treat or concider the team battles as a sport or is it just training and a way to climb the rank to do certain missions.

We're not quite at that level yet, I don't think.

Not yet, but there's a chance. KNY in less than two months has sold more than it sold in the entirety of 2019. With the boost showing no signs of stopping yet, it might as well get to the 30 million figure within a year.

Black Clover is literally the only one in the current lineup that does team battles regularly (There is almost no solo fights actually) So I think BC wins. lol

I take that back. There is also Demon Slayer. Pretty good team fights actually

That's true but I think the Train arc movie will push it to that level or very close.
