Well, it took like 4 months to announce MHA's last popularity poll's results so KNY should last that much, especially with how big the series is so the amount of votes they will receive is huge.

I meant what does sales on day 0 mean

Oh it depends. If the volume is released after Monday then it will count for that week, it's just like the volume had an extra day in its first week, but if it's released on Monday, it will be counted for the previous week.

How will it get sold?

The demand is so high that bookstores start selling them earlier.

Same way people get magazines ahead of street date, I think? Some stores put it up early.

POS just track the point of sales as in when the barcode is scanned.

semantics about embargo aside, stocks are delivered early and some stores just put them up (or maybe perks of members/regular/pre-order, who knows)

this is quite normal, hence you can sometime see the first week of oricon not actually containing the total sales, (usually happen on a 7 days FW or sometimes 6 days FW for bigger series)

doesn't change much tbh,

most tracker won't add an extra day since that would be stupid and tedious to do all the time , especially since most numbers are on a per week basis

if the sales are before the week cutoff date, it would just be counted as the previous week, and most people considered it as week 0

OP really is on its way to release only 3 volumes this fiscal year, the 4th one should only come in December again so it will only count for 2021. I guess this will be the norm for OP from now on.

I kinda like how One Piece takes breaks, it will artificially prolong the story and I quite enjoy discussing/reading theories.

Kinda like how Dragon Ball was published for 11 years (1984-1995) and only got 42 tankobons out of its 519 chapters (Which, would equate to around 60 volumes for most other series), but the thing is that Akira Toriyama made Dragon Ball chapters 14 pages long (Instead of the usual 19ish pages per chapter).
It's interesting that Toriyama even published Dr. Slump with 13 pages per chapter,so I guess Dr.Slump was also "artificially prolonged"

Ever since I saw the designs for this serialization, I've been itching to see the color pages for this. This certainly does not disappoint. I'm REALLY hoping that this is good, or at least better than the other two, IMO.
