I honestly have no idea what you're talking about now, but I don't care not because it's not part of my headcanon, but because it's not relevant to what I was discussing with the person I was talking to before you responded to me.because she was weakened before, you don't care because it is not part of your headcannon. for Sitri, that depends if she actual went all out. this is from the official translation. She was weakened and she did not even put all her power behind it. because she did not put everything she had left into it. It is no excuse where even statements have shown in the past she she was not even strong like her former self, it took until GMG to be atleast strong or stronger than her top tier self
The argument is that Mirajane has always had inferior performance than Erza, no matter what arc is in question. The person I was speaking to said Mirajane had comparable performance to Erza in Tenroujima (and Tartaros, but we're not talking about that); same arc where Mirajane lost to Azuma because she didn't have enough magical power to take him out whereas Erza was able to beat a stronger version of Azuma then went on to help fight Hades.
Whatever defensiveness or reasons you have against that is really irrelevant and not something I'm interested in hearing about. If Mirajane admits to being incapable of beating Azuma; then she's incapable of beating Azuma. By extension, she has definitively worse performance than someone who can beat a superior version of Azuma.
Unless you can bring up a valid point on why Mirajane did perform on a similar level to Erza, then you're bringing up a strawman argument.
Because yes, by GMG, Mirajane may have arguably caught up to Erza at the beginning of the series, but at this point, Erza has also improved significantly. You can call Sitri level 'top tier' all you want, but it was still massively inferior to Erza who beat up someone superior to the person who stomped Sitri. So the gap was still there, if anything, it was getting bigger. Does this change the fact that Erza performed way better than Mirajane in Tenroujima? No. Does it change the fact that Erza performed way better than Mirajane in Tartaros? Also, no.
