Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

Let's hope for the Jump GIGA specials.

BTW, what exactly is the publishing schedule for Giga? Seems that it's not quarterly like I thought it was.
It varies a bit but currently, I think it runs for 3 monthly issues at a time then stops until the next run. Though maybe it's changed again, who knows.

Shoseki Daily Ranking - 03/04

Jump March Titles

#1 My Hero Academia 26
#2 Haikyuu!! 42
#3 The Promised Neverland 18
#4 Jujutsu Kaisen 10
#10 Chainsaw Man 6
#29 Dr. Stone Reboot: Byakuya
#44 Samurai 8: Hachimaruden 4
#60 Mitama Security 2
Strange that Shoeski isnt tracking Haikyu!! #42's Special Edition, based off Honto and Amazon, it should be somewhere between #40-50

For comparison, S8 Vol 3 was 40th, Mitama Vol 1 52.
These comparisons are useless tbh, especially considering the amount of series they're up against

I don't think those are bad first day rankings for Miitama and Samurai 8. Though I guess we'll have to wait for the weekly rankings.
It's not exactly bad for Mitama but didn't showed any sign of performing better than vol 1 which is something not positive at all, with S8 is more a positive thing since is being able to keep up with vol 2 and 3 (both started at 40th) despite the bad rankings

I mean, sure, S8 isn't really dropping, but it's not exactly improving, is it?

Yes, but at this point keeping at the same level of the last 2 volumes is something positive considering the bad rankings, all the other newbies dropped considerably with the new volumes

If you want me to guess, this parallel thing is about having each of the heroines having their own ending along the MC, like the first one did.

Or can be a completely different thing. But it's curious to say the least. Can't wait to see the spoilers.

If this is true, watch how almost everyone who got salty about manga’s ending will suddenly love it again. It’d make for a great bamboozle.

Seeing Guardian of the Witch in the preview for next issue is strange, can you imagine if it's actually being well received? Stevie would be laughing for the rest of the year kkkkk

Well, it would honestly be a great thing, is something that very few to none authors try to do.

Last time I saw this was Seo Kouji's alternate R-18 end of Kimimachi and Fuuka.

While I don't like the idea of parallel end like this, this concept is more playing it safe.

Dayum kudos to Yozakura with getting another CP and making its way out of the Bottom, tho not happy with Mitama being there. A decent first place for UxU, now the real question is how it performs next week since it can go either way. Hope that Mashle gets a good first place and stays

Oh yeah, Mashle is the next one, i'm a mix of excited and worried for this one, it just can go both ways, be a surprise or a big flop, hoping for the first option

Shinuki, you were saying?
Vol 5 also started at 10th, so vol.6 is showing no signs of growing, too bad Buranchi :cheez

I'll preface with this: Watsuki is definitely disgusting and should have gotten a bigger punishment than he did at the time.

However, you do not know the dynamics of his relationship with Oda (whom he's still been an important figure for, like it or not). I don't think we have the inside info to judge anyone other than Watsuki on this matter. The interview is not exactly some sort of career-saving advertisement, though, it's at a Rurouni Kenshin exhibition. It's not likely tht anyone who's not already a fan of the manga will be there in the first place.
Imo regardless of what his relationship with Watsuki is doesn’t matter.

It’s not like this is family member or something.
I find it baffling that anyone who has young daughters wouldn’t immediately be disgusted at a friend being a pedophile, and can’t exactly understand being conflicted on whether or not to cut said pedo off.

That's... not how that works, Shin. It could be selling better and still ranked lower than the last volume, since it's not a 1:1 statistic.
