As for Laxus using PoF, yeah that's what Mashima wants, it's literally what the series is about and its exactly why Mashima specifically chose to give Laxus Wahl as an opponent and cancer on top of it. Any other spriggan bar the top two gets immediately destroyed, he needed Laxus to fight someone he couldn't oneshot and the top two were already booked. If he wanted present spriggans as an actual challenge for Laxus he would have made Laxus win with all that difficulty against a normal spriggan, no handicaps, he also wouldn't have had August state that Ajeel would've died from a single attack. He even mentions in an interview that he has trouble writing Laxus into the story since he's so OP, welp, look how that turned out, fought with magic cancer against the only spriggan immune to lightning, seems like Mashima's handiwork to me. Anyway, Laxus oneshotting spriggans is as canon as canon gets.

So two nameless punches are stronger than Laxus nuke? This is why people think you hate Laxus(cause you do). Were Natsu & co souls as well?

If yes, where did their bodies go, and how were they bleeding? Oh wait, Wratih's soul was bleeding, wonder how TF that happened lmao.
If not, how were they able to touch Acnologia's soul?

Lol, Mira gets the opposite of PoF in her fights. PoF means you go pass your limits which is equivalent to BS most of the time and Mira doesn't get the luxury of BS fights nor did she surpass her limits when she only used BSS, her weakest soul.

Mirajane's own admission that she was not certain she would have been able to fight him off is not something that can be twisted to be within the scope and limitations of the panels we saw, especially considering we only really saw snippets.

She said the page before that she could possibly do it which is a 50/50.
As you see by her expression she wasn't going to chance her sister's life on a 50/50 gamble.

This battle is also one of the prime examples that Mira does not get PoF in her fights as well .

This is also an inferior version of Azuma who Erza later overpowered.

Even if I were to agree that Mirajane could've possibly pulled a tie (at best) against Azuma, this still does not make this hypothetical performance comparable to actually beating a relatively more powerful version of the same character then proceeding to go ahead and help fight off the big bad guy.
