Kimetsu's has been going on for a while already, but it's of a different kind, you need to buy volume 19 (or the magazine, I think?) to vote.

Wouldn't say "really" popular. Even those hyping it are starting to realize some of the issues.
Though I agree that many KNY readers have found some issues with the final arc, to say that the KNY manga is not really popular given the weekly data that's been on this thread for the past few months is... interesting. Aside from lifetime sales obviously, I would argue it's CURRENTLY the most popular one (outside of this highly unrepresentative manga forum ofc).

I have a similar opinion. I think Undead Unlucky is the most cohesive from all. I agree with Mashle, which I like, it has good ideas and the art is great and sometimes even inventive but I'm fearing that it's going to repeat the same jokes, which for JP, can or cannot go right.
We’re talking about reception toward the fight, not the series as a whole or any sales figures.
To be fair the whole popular just start after the big animation/season which KnY get, it really became very popular because of the anime, the current battle hasn´t really anything done with the great popular of KnY.

That's really harsh. The first half was ok. But not to the extent of considering as even worse than Naruto/Bleach.
I only take one sentence from him and use it because im 100% agree with him, don´t change my view how bad Muzan is written as villian.
And it is still one of the best received series at 5ch and JP twitter, the manga even trended couple of times during this arc.
Should I copy all the panels of the battle, do you want really me to show how bad the battle is, almost 10 chapters with Muzan just swinging his idiotic tentacles? The previous battle are good written, the fight choreography when they fought against Kokushibo was insane good and one of the best fights which I see in the last years in the shonen weekly jump. But that doesn´t count how bad the fight is right now with Muzan, we should be fair in this one. If Muzan would be a villian in another mangas(as Fairy tail/OnePiece/Nanatsu) people who defend him would call him then trash and one of the worst villians. The fight is really bad until now.

Reception towards the fight, while not perfect, is largely better than the reactions towards other similarly popular shonen 'endings'. And a large contributing factor towards the criticism is that the anime ended right at the start of this final fight, allowing new readers to binge read the story up to the fight while having to wait for this final fight on a weekly basis with short chapters. I'd imagine there'd be a lot less people complaining if the manga had already been completed when they began reading, given that the same pacing criticisms given to the Muzan fight were also made of the Red Light District and Upper Moon 1 fights when they were being released on a weekly basis, while new binge-readers found those fights one of the best.
I am not interested in discussing it here but Muzan fights has been well received on JP polls and on 5ch better than most series even if they aren't indicative of everyone opinion it still show people like the series and well even if the current part is a masterpiece it wouldn't have gotten more popular because how can it ?
I do agree there some issues about the pacing and Muzan itself but considering it as that it can get a worse ending than Naruto/Bleach is really going out of the rails. I mean that's overreacting a lot.
