So, a random thought crossed my mind while reading the latest chapter, So spoilers for anyone who hasn't read it yet.

Spoiler: The True History

The One Piece, or part of it, is the true history.

Of the the future. We are all assuming it is the true history of the past, but it is, in fact, or in some perspective, a history of the future. Perhaps the world is in a kind of time trap or loop where it endlessly repeats the same things, like real history, but in a more extreme fashion. Maybe the Gorosei/Im impose this on the world and the Ancient Kingdom's goal was to somehow break this cycle.

Dunno, just thought of it randomly. Zehahahahah! So long as there's gold I don't care!

But do recall how I've talked about Fate so often in the story? Zehahahahah! I know more than I'm allowed to say!

Pretty sure One Piece is simply a poneglyph that confirms what we’ve always been suspicious of since the East Blue arcs.
