So the Burn the Witch serialization sounds like more of an anime tie-in than an honest attempt at a new series by Kubo.

A little disappointed, but I guess it's to be expected. Also, it just says that the serialization is a miniseries, right? Not the anime?

Well Shima also received a shocking low number of goodbyes with Toriko, it was like just Oda and Sorachi if i remember well.

Btw at the end Stivie is the true winner of the week, kept pushing GotW signs of popularity and in the end the manga had a good first ranking

It really came late, but My Hero Academia anime finally getting launched in Spain is being really really huge. I wonder if we'll get it in Netflix or spanish TV soon. My Hero Academia is very popular so it has chances.

Now to wait for Kimetsu anime getting licensed.

I knew Kubo wouldn't come back with a new serialization. Bleach took the life out of him.

I assume Burn The Witch would be something like 5 volumes at most if not shorter. Kubo was probably working on it all this time after the oneshot. He said the manuscripts were complete

Anime is also back. That's fantastic. Do we have more info on the blood war arc anime? Same studio? Timeline? Anything?

Also, S8 is a lesson for those who said WSJ has changed. It sold 30k and had Kishimoto writing it. Yet it didnt even survive as long as RxL.
Glad it's over. People can stop arguing over this now. Okubo will be fine. I'm sure he will return with his own series in the future.

The Samurai 8 situation has remembered me a lot to what happened to Gun Blaze West in 2001:

-1999 is the year that Kenshin ends (same issue Naruto chapter 1 is released)
-In 2001 Kenshin is in the top-5 of most sold manga ever in Jump (recall Naruto was 2 years old, One Piece 5 and Bleach didn't even exist)
-Watsuki launchs Gun Blaze West which was a similar approach than One Piece (they even complemented well with One Piece being sea pirates and Gun Blaze West being the Wild West)
-It still doesn't do well (still better than Samurai 8)
-Axed

I wonder if Kishimoto will come back after Samurai 8. I can see it happening. Continuing with my example, Watsuki came back in 2003 with Buso Renkin (which it wasn't a super-hit but it sold enough to get an anime adaptation).
