Seems over all positive. Most likely Rachel will be shown more through flashbacks otherwise the betrayal wont cut this deep and its this kind of expectation subversion that hooks people into the title so i doubt they wont take advantage of it.

That's really encouraging to hear. Mainly because I know sometimes anime put the best scenes they've got in their trailer to sort of hide the warts. But it sounds like this show could live up to the hype.

And it would be kind of great if this creative team worked. Because it's a studio that doesn't seem swamped with projects. A creative team that could be potentially trying to making a name for themselves here. It would be sort of an underdog story.

Tog trailer out on crunchyroll. That looks... not sure, there is too little in there to tell if its actually good. Looks like they did go with the kinda rough art from season 1, meaning that over time the anime will also show substantial art changes. I think that is a good bet, it will help keep the loook fresh.

I would be sad if they don’t include Rak’s turtle jokes and philosophy. I think it adds a lot, especially when he insults AA with that (and the rest of the regulars) in the auditorium at the end of S1.

Voices about right.

Baam is a whiny kid, but... Baam sounds like Baam.
Rachel is... a voice, OK. Same with Anaak.
Yuri, AA, Rak... not bad.



Headon STILL looks unfinished to me.

Oh, was that YHS as the announcer on the 2F lighthouse or some rando? I can't remember. Would be appropriate if he sounded like a girl...

I must say i like the voices, particularly Yuri, Khun and Anak.

Baam sounds like a naive child he is, Rak is ok.
Rachel's voice is... how should i put it... lovely. I instantly started to wonder how it would sound while she's angry and shouting.
The announcer on 2F can't be YHS, it sounds girlish, true, but also childish. I hope i'm correct on this cause i can't really picture YHS with this voice.

So Koon is voiced by Accelerator and Bakago's VA. That's a twist. And Rak is Allmight. I love that.

Anak, Androssi, and Yuri's VA's I don't recognize.

Okamoto was one of my guesses for AA!

RIP the dream of Aoi Yuki as Anak and Haruka Tomatsu as Androssi though...

Looks pretty nice Still can't quite shake that anxiety about if they will actually be able to make this style of animation work all the time/for the whole season, but I'll be hopeful for the time being.

It's true that most of the female leads seem to be voiced by rather unknown VAs, but we can only speculate about why. They're obviously cheaper than the big names, so that might have been a factor. Could also be they want to use this series to give the female VAs a push, but mb that's wishful thinking lol. I definitely recognize Rachel's voice, but can't quite say who it belongs to exactly...

I hope so too. I want them to translate certain things as close as possible in korean some translations of LINE are outrageous. One example is Quant monologue after Ho died they translated it as "baby tiger" instead of "shark swimming with sardines" or something similar to that.

We don't know the answer for certain but it's safe to assume it's all of season 1. We've seen at least as far as the crown game in the trailer.

I hope so too. I want them to translate certain things as close as possible in korean some translations of LINE are outrageous. One example is Quant monologue after Ho died they translated it as "baby tiger" instead of "shark swimming with sardines" or something similar to that.

i'd think they'd keep the translations as close as possible. overall the fish analogies simply make sense within the context of the series (shinsoo being water and most creatures within it being shineuh, as in fish. dunno if there is anything that would straight up not work if translated from korean to japanese though.

I mean, how many chapters do you think we will get per anime? The chapters of nowadays are bigger than the chapters from back when ToG started. Do we have 25 chapters confirmed? Maybe they should just adapt the entire first season, even if it costs 30-35 anime chapters.

Lets hope Rak, Khun, Yuri, Endorsi and Hansung Yu make people like the series. 1st season Bam is annoying and Rachel is cancer.

I've been re-reading ToG. It is possible that the anime will stop either in chapter 72/73. That would make ~3 manga chapters per anime chapter(24 episode season). Makes sense. Or they can change the pacing a bit and put the entire first season.
