@Datu Mike
Toei (or other company) should start fresh and make a remake with seasons so they could have more budget, so it will have better animation and maybe attract a new audience.
Higher Budget ≠ Better Animation.
One Punch Man Season 1 is the best example of this. It had a completely average budget for a TV anime, but was turned into an insane spectacle thanks to a passionate and experienced director (Shingo Natsume) with an impressively vast network of connections in the industry. The budget for
One Piece, and even the long-running
Black Clover adaptation are fine, problems in these shows stem from a whole another slew of issues including poor management and scheduling, and a lack of resources from the studio (these are especially big problems for
Black Clover).
Maybe a remake could drum up some possible new interest, but there's no way of knowing that for sure, there are too many large variables. It's not like better animation will automatically attract a larger audience anyway, if that was true,
Fire Force would be a much bigger success than
The Quintessential Quintuplets (sorry for the Shonen Magazine examples, it was the best thing I could think of at the moment, lol).
Which Jump series got the best adaptation ever?
The first three seasons of
Haikyu!! are pretty much the gold standard for an anime adaptation. It's the perfect intersection of awe-inspiring animation, striking storyboards, an amazing soundtrack, and just the right amount of changes that really make Furudate's story shine in a different medium and build on their ideas in great ways (just compare the first chapter of
Haikyu!! to the anime's first episode). On top of that, it's blessed with some of Takahiro Kishida's best character designs and the legendary Takahiro Chiba as an aninmation director! Season 4 isn't terrible (most of the staff is the same and the new director and character designs by Kishida are still very good), but living up to the first three seasons on a much tighter schedule is a tall order.
