Yeah, that's still no excuse. How much screen time was given to Gray's fight? The entire fight with Gray was offscreened, and we didn't even get a few panels of them squaring up to set it up. The fight ended before anyone realized it even began.

Im referring to Macro why it was not use more frequently. Because readers get easily bored in that kind spell.

And I'm saying the excuses are silly. Mirajane is already a one trick pony because all she does is fight in Satan Soul offscreen, and her finishing fights with macro would be a lot more entertaining than her losing in fights that began and concluded entirely offscreen.

I really don't understand how you think. If it's part of her character, then why did she use it against those fodders but against actual relevant characters, she chose to fight the conventional way? Even though, there were real stakes at the time, including her friends and siblings' lives? From a writing standpoint, I understand what you're saying, but if you're trying to get inside Mirajane's head to explain this, you're not succeeding.
Mira will use Macro just to make her opponent sleep. Not to make fight to each other. That what im referring to. Because it will contradict to her kind character. You can not expect Mira to order for a killing lol.
