The opponents are not doing anything and cannot attack back. How absolute is Macro? Is there really no such limit to this curse? The following characters in the gauntlet are:

Round 3: Jacob
Round 4: Gray
Round 5: Skullion
Round 6: Erza
Round 7: Laxus
Round 8: August
Round 9: Future Rogue and all 7 GMG dragons
Round 10: Igneel
Round 11: Aldoron

Scenario 2: How far does the original Seilah get in this gauntlet?​

If you think it works on Erza then by default you think it works on Laxus since they are pretty much equal.

Yet it’s been stated that once something has come under of macro’s control, it can remotely resume control of them at any time. Erza was under macro in Tartaros before Mira took out Seilah

I don't think the same person that can give Laxus an extreme diff fight and can destroy a meteor with her foot will be under the control of an outdated curse.

Hax's get outdated as time goes on. For example, Natsu couldn't do anything under Bluenotes gravity back on Tenrou then did so effortlessly against Orochi Fin.

Mira has not shown anything remotely decent with Macro in Alvarez or this sequel.

Don’t see where a curse gets ‘outdated’. It’s cannon that Macro can regain control whenever the user pleases. Unless Mira actually tries and fails to use it on Erza on 100yq it’s only logical to think it’d work.

No it's not because she's never used it again since and in Alvarez used it on foot soldiers. She could've used twice this sequel but didn't.

Using your logic, if I put current Erza right now in Tartaros. she immediately loses against Seilah. Yea, that doesn't sound right.

Didn’t she immediately lose to Seilah anyways? She was Macro’d to choke herself with no chance of breaking out of it until Mira came in.

Yea two years ago. Ever heard of something called getting stronger? You mean to tell me, she can break a meteor with her foot, damage Irene heavily, but would lose against someone from Tartaros? Right.

With a curse that’s literally been said to take control whenever they want? it’s a possibility, not saying it’ll happen but if Mashima were to ever properly follow through on his set up for macro then yeah.

You do realize some foot soldiers from Alvarez resisted it right? A curse that hasn't been used properly in two years all of a sudden will work on someone who's tiers ahead of Mira? Yea....no

It took out a whole street worth of soldiers, clearly it has its limits with number of people. Literally stated by that it can regain control whenever they want, i don’t see what’s to argue against.

She doesn't re use it though. She goes to actually fighting. Also like, Lisanna said it didn't work on some of them. Where was it stated it had a limit on people?

Clearly it does? It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. If it didn’t she would’ve taken out the whole street with ease seeing as they’re all fodder soldiers.
