Also, uncensored nipples? Checking Saotome Shimai on Jump+, it seems that the nipples are censored Yuuna style. What's the difference here?

Same reason that...thing the King from the current arc of HxH has visible nipples. It's okay as long as its on an obviously inhuman image.

In other news, it seems we may have a budding mangaka in the making:



Murata's daughter got quite the potential there. I'm pretty sure most 10-year olds would kill to be able to draw as well as she does. Aida Iro's style is so distinct, that I think it would be fairly hard to emulate, but here she is, almost effortlessly drawing them. She's 10 for crying out loud!!!

Given that Jump has an interest in female mangakas, y'guys reckon they're already scouting her? I wouldn't be surprised if in the next 5 years she's offered a one-shot.

Her drawing is so much better than mine, I wish i could draw sooner. Imagine if she can persue to be mangaka just like the incredible talent of her father.

To be fair, it was getting kinda boring to see Kimetsu hogging the charts, so maybe a little break from seeing the sales will do us some good.

I don't know if someone already posted this, but Shibata shared on his twitter the whole first chapter of Zipman as promotion to volume 1.



It got a pretty good amount of likes and retweets (Not surprising tho, as someone who was not a fan the first chapter was probably one of the better ones..), with a lot of people praising and saying that would get the volume. A bit sad considering that is already axed and none of this will help in a bigger way.

After all these years, I think the manga industry finally has the answer to the age-old question "How big is too big?" That was a strange oneshot that kind of works simply because it's a oneshot, but its the type of series I can't imagine getting serialized in a million years.

What are you talking about? I never been laugh out loud that much since Beelzebub and Sket dance. I can see why it is well received in Japan because this type of gag\comedy is what the japanese readers are looking for.

It's worth mentioning, UU and AB are that high partially because KNY's stock is running out and reprints just went out on the 1st and the 2nd so the effect will be seen in the following days. Still, a great start for both, let's see how they hold up.

And there it is. I'm curious as to how well each of the newbies will hold their rankings for the rest of the week, but Undead Unluck's looking more and more likely to be a mainstay. Agravity Boys actually has a good chance at surviving too, now. I'm not sure what Yozakura Volume 1's previous ranking was, but things seem to be looking rather stable. Zipman, though... oof. I can see why Jump cut their losses early.

I wonder if Agravity Boys is going to end up in a similar situation as Robot x Laserbeam - sales are passable but the series ultimately gets axed because it's always basically last in the TOC from lack of weekly votes.
