Obanai and Mitsuri even If they survive won t participate in future events far too sever injuries and Mitsuri is armless. They don t look like they survive they might die. But who knows perhaps miracle

We have Tanjiro,Kanao,Nezuko,Zenitsu and Inosuke who are still alive.

Assuming Gotouge continue story online She/he can use all this remaining characters and add more new ones.

Next sequel or arc is Possible it really depends on creativity and ideas

Tanjiro as New demon king or somethingelse as villian.

I trust Gotouge so far for me His/her writing has been really good. Thumbs up for creator for making me enjoy this manga so much since Shigenki no kyojin.

I put my trust on Gotouge writing hasn t cause me major dissapointment yet except for Nakime treatment and some very few others.

A Sequel or ending soon fine by me.just Hope It good bittersweeting ending or happy one.

Hope Tanjiro and others get good ending.

The problem is that not everyone is Eiichiro Oda.
Kimetsu never had a structure that allowed it to last that long, regardless of sales.
And we think that the demon Tanjiro will be the new villain in the story, but would the jump allow such a drastic change?
Shingeki showed Eren becoming a villain, but shingeki is a seinin and bessatsu magazine is not from jump.
I don't remember a jump star becoming a villain for a long time.
The closest to that was Sasuke but he was not the main protagonist of Naruto.
I also like Kimetsu but we have to know what are its limits and defects.

Just want to say nichirin blades are literally blades that has absorbed sun, but since the sunlight doesnt work on Tanjiro anymore, does this mean decaptication on Tanjiro head with nirchin blade is useless on him?

Giyu saw that Tanjiro would have killed two people if he hadn't stopped it. Tanjiro is a threat now, Giyu was acting the right way, even Kanao if he were there would have the same thought of killing Tanjiro.
As long as Nezuko does not show up to calm his brother, nothing prevents Kanao or even Inosuke and Zenitsu from doing anything.

All forcible means to stop demon Tanjiro are crossed out atm. They can't turn him back to a human because they already tried the drug on Muzan and it didn't work. Sunlight doesn't work on him and that likely implies nichirin blades won't work either. The only option I see is the Akaza suicide route. There will be a trigger (Nezuko) which will help him open his eyes and remember his purpose. When he sees Nezuko as a human he will know his purpose has been fulfilled, and Tanjiro will fade away in peace.

I think that's the best way to bring Tanjiro closure as well.

I think muzan misunderstands the bit about memories being forever. The key about that specific bit is that your thoughts and memories get passed down through other people with whom you shared some manner of bond. But muzan does not have people he made a bond with or who care about him. It's a good desperate move on muzan's part but tanjiro has a lot to work with in terms of defense compared to what little muzan can attempt to pass on to muzan. Muzan is an inhuman monster that needs to be put down, he cares for no one, he is loved by no one.... And his memories won't be passed down by anyone.

I agree I trust the author, he/she haven’t disappointed me yet. Most of these guys are not open to new characters and new ides because they was convinced this was the final arc.

They are not to blame for thinking that this is the last bow.
In addition, all the mysteries of the work have been explained, and many important characters have been killed.
We don't know if these new characters will be able to please as much as the old characters, nor did shingeki and tokyo ghoul kill as many relevant characters as kimetsu.
The author will have to change the name of the manga or add a subtitle to continue this story.
So it's like I said people are not to blame for thinking that this is the end.

Even Akaza style won t work Remember he is immune to everyform of harm except wisteria poison and sun breath.

It didn t work because Muzan resist even then it take a lot time. Tanjiro probably won t resist he let himself be turn back if he still have his conciouness left.

Also you guys are making pretty bold conclusions on Demonjiro's current power levels when all we've seen him do is smack people this chapter (and overcome the sun), I wouldn't be so confident if I were you.

Yet at same time all you guys underestimate him far too much thinking he is some fodder demon while Muzan king of all demons say otherwise thats his arch enemy we are talking about. Thinking he get taken out easily.

First of all, calm down please. I didn't say that at all, when did I imply he's a fodder demon? I just said you shouldn't be so confident that your prediction is 100% right as of yet (though it may be) - we won't know anything for sure until this plays out a little longer, I've said this multiple times. It's fine to speculate about what might happen but unless you have some personal connections with Gotouge, you can't yet put down other people's predictions completely and assert yours as the right one as you may equally end up being wrong too.

Unrelated to Kimetsu, but AoT is shonen (Bessatsu Shonen Magazine). It's just that it definitely skews toward an older shonen demographic with some of the series that run in there (e.g., Oshimi's previous series (Flowers of Evil, Happiness), O Maidens in Your Savage Season, etc.).
