So looking at MangaPlus' new IDs, it seems Neverland has 3IDs (indicating a break or end), 5IDs for Black Clover and Kimetsu for some reason, and the rest 4IDs, including Agravity Boys (which means it will start filling Volume 3).
Am new to this Mangaplus 'ID' thing. Could anyone explain what they mean/significance? Am curious why Kimetsu has 5IDs whatever that means

There is an explanation here.

Now question, why does Saiyuki only have 2 ID's? Basically because the series is not listed for more chapters after that. What I mean is, MANGA Plus saves 1 ID per Shonen Jump issue the series will appear on, so if they have 4 ID's for Yui Kamio, it means the series has appeared in this week's issue, #36/37, and hence will appear on Issue #38, #39 and #40. After that, it's completely unknown whether the series continues or not, that's not something we can calculate because when they relocate the series, they tend to use random ID's and leave huge spaces between every issue.

So, if any series has less than 4 ID's, does this mean the series is ending? Of course not. Series could be having a break, hiatus, or any other thing that could mess up its schedule and not appear in some issue. But of course, we can just guess the series its ending due to the overall knowledge we have about it.

That should be everything. I hope this helped to understand how the whole system works.

It is the number of chapters that mangaplus receives from the jump.
Kimetsu no yaiba has received 5 chapters, it means it won't end yet.

If this ID question is correct then we can already assume that kimetsu no yaiba is now the new bleach. A manga that should have ended at its peak but will end in decay.
Because if there are people with hate just from Muzan's fight, from now on there will be even more hate.

One Piece 6375-6376* (2 IDs)
Haikyu!! 6400-6401* (2 IDs)
The Promised Neverland 6535-6537 (3 IDs, break? end?)
Jujutsu Kaisen 6538-6541
My Hero Academia 6542-6545
Kimetsu no Yaiba 6546-6550 (5 IDs)
Black Clover 6551-6555 (5 IDs)

We Never Learn 6556-6559
Dr. STONE 6560-6563
Act-Age 6564-6567
Chainsaw Man 6568-6571
Yozakura 6572-6575
Mitama 6576-6579
ZIPMAN!! 6580 (END)
AGRAVITY BOYS 6581-6584
Undead Unluck 6585-6588
MASHLE 6589-6592
Guardian of the Witch 6593-6596

Go theorize, first two are because of sudden breaks and stuff, nothing important. As for my own opinion, Neverland is probably just a break in #20, #21 or #22/23. It won't end with just 6 chapters in Volume 20. Or will it?

Everything else will keep appearing in the magazine, at least until Double Issue.
I can’t help but wonder if Kimetsu and Black Clover’s mysterious extra ID are actually sort of placeholders for the new series. Between this new ID batch that stretches up to the double issue, we’ll have two new series premiering.

This does confirm that everything except Zipman will continue for three more chapters, but they’ll need to end one more series before Issue #24 if they want to keep the limit of 20.

Jump oneshot of this issue, Naraku no Ko, Color Page.

One golden rule about starting a series or publishing a one-shot is to immediately attract attention from the very first page/cover. And this oneshot does exactly that. Also noticed some Takei-inspired artstyle here.

What does BC and Kimetsu having 1 more ID than the others mean?

Jump oneshot of this issue, Naraku no Ko, Color Page.

This looks pretty decent actually

Assuming that already? Disagree. Again it's pretty obvious this will be resolved in the next chapters. The hate is coming from ppl who wants to see it decay, hard-core fans from other series and casuals.

Disagree, could still end well but let's see how it goes. Thanks for the info on IDs though, that's interesting...

I haven't caught up to TPN in a while, do people who read it think it has the capacity to end in just 3 chapters? Seems a bit abrupt but idk the plot rn so
It can end good if it ends in that arc, if winding it will be bad. Sorry I'm being boring but I don't think kimetsu will be the exception.
about TPN it may end in 3 chapters, I don't know.

Mashle's chapter was perfect. Would love to see more Jump series making fun of incel mentality.
Also, this is reminding me a lot of the first phase of the Hunter Exam. Love how it can shift so easily to serious and mysterious.

Nobody discussed opinions of the new chapters yet, so:

MHA: Tense. Not really fond of the blue balling, at this point I hope this dude has a hell of a shocking backstory. But everything else was great. I’ve no fucking idea how some of the heroes that are currently getting focused on are gonna survive this. I continue to wait with great trepidation.

WNL: I’m getting into this arc, perhaps reluctantly. This whole game they’re playing is alright, but I’m a sucker for actual progress in romcoms so that’s probably why I’m more invested. The Fumino appearance definitely has me excited for her route. I’m not sure what the point of the ghost is though and why she’s in Rizu’s route specifically.

EDIT: Fuck, I was a little late.

My top-3 is MHA, OP, and for the third slot I'm between Kimetsu and Act-age.

Act-age giving vibes that the manga will have like 3 more arcs and that's all. And that would be good if its mantains its superb quality.

Today's Agravity and Mitama were fucking hilarious. So Zipman's ending leads to it being a world more like Zippo? Lol. Also Tabata saying goodbye to Shibata means he got more notice for ending in the author comments than Kisimoto did lol.

This one looks fun, do we have spoilers on what is exactly about, or anything on the author?

Also, this week’s chapters were quite good, loved Chainsaw Man, Act age and Mashle. The Kimetsu chapter was sure something, gonna wait how Gotoge handles it next chapter. Yozakura also had a fun chapter this time, probably one of its best

This week's top 5:
1. Mitama Security - Absolutely hilarious chapter. Seeing Opportunity and the other fan-contest spirits in the chapter were hilarious. Please live a long life so we can see those other 432 fan designs!
2. Mission: Yozakura Family = Really solid chapter. The grandfather was hilarious, and Taiyo had some really nice moments in there too.
3. Unluck Undead - Spoil's design is super awesome, and Andy is such a nice guy. I can't wait to see this upcoming battle.
4. Act-Age - Quite curious to see what this new arc will begin setting up.
5. We Never Learn - Needed more Sawako again. Uruka's arc was much better than this one. Hopefully the other girls' endings will feel more natural and fluid than Rizu's has.

Best of the rest:
6. Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san - Another hot chapter. I've always felt 50% love her 50% hate her about this week's character, but this week's dream was excellently drawn.
7. Agravity Boys - Pretty funny chapter. The main problem with it was the last few pages, which I feel like kind of flew by a bit in a dicey way. The beginning half was pretty funny though.
8. Mashle - After a few decent chapters, this one wasn't really my thing. Can't stand that new guy and the pacing of the chapter felt a bit off.
9. Chainsawman - No clue what's going on

Series read this week ranked from best to worst.
1. Mashle
2. Chainsaw Man
3. Kimetsu no Yaiba
4. Agravity Boys
5. Black Clover
6. One Piece
7. Undead x Unluck
8. World Trigger
9. My Hero Academia
10. Jujutsu Kaisen
11. Yozakura Family
12. Guardian of the Witch
13. The Promised Neverland

Overall a great issue this week. I liked everything in the top 10 a lot so it was hard to just share a top 5.

Mashle was the best for me. I love how seamlessly it blends comedy with serious plot and this arc is shaping up to me something that reminds me of the Forest stages of the Hunter and Chuunin Exams but in Hogwarts Forbidden Woods!

I'm liking Undead x Unluck moreso with the current developments. Still find it really problematic though.

The Promised Neverland's chapter was so bad I couldn't believe I was actually reading it.

I know last week was great all around but I think this week may have been even better

Yozakura was in line with what I'd expect from it, introducing another character into the fold. Chapter had some nice moments but as a whole I didn't really care

Mitama was great as always, poor Mitama getting banned everywhere

Zipman ended. I don't know what else to say about it

Agravity may have had one if it's best chapters, glad to see it's seemingly selling well too

UxU was good, kinda reminds me of that arc from the beginning of D Gray Man where the town was frozen in time

Mash was alright, but I just don't think the series is for me. It can get a few laughs and the action is nice, but I'm just not very into it.

Guardian was the same as usual, nothing to say

MHA, Black Clover, CSM, JJK, KnY, and HQ were all great, with that last page for HQ giving me chills.
