Moderator Notice:
Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

I’m guessing that this will be the case for all the Jump manga releasing in May, but those three are the most popular of the batch.
What other Jump are released in May?

So the Shueisha manga will all debut the second week of May right?

schedule for jump #21/22 & #23

as expected, #20 break #21/22 break #23,

they chosen #23 as the name... so unless originally #53(which is possible this year) doesn't happen, we will end on #51 an be short 1 issue

We have to deal with that schedule every year in January with the New Years issue, so honestly this isn't even that bad.

Isn't this good time to catch up with your backlog?
Finally touch Undead Unluck. It's not as bad, nor as good as people claim here. Tho, it has a huge tonal issue with early chapters. Fight and power is kind of messy, but passable. SCP-esque stuff is neat, with chapter 9 really the best.
Hope the author makes the main girl less boring tho.

I’m gonna sound dumb here, but it only just dawned on me after looking at the Mori King cover that this is gonna be a gag manga.

Looks like Guardian is dead, Agravity Boys is better but still bottom 5 and Yozakura keeps bouncing up and down from okay placement to terrible. Undead getting bottom 5 for the second time in a row isn't great either but that sometimes happens with new series that are popular but haven't got people voting them every week quite yet. Hopefully it comes back up in the next couple chapters. At least Mitama's still doing well.

It's still impossible to tell what's going to happen with all the new series with these sorts of placements except that Mashle's probably going to be around for a while.

Also it's weird that certain people are complaining about WNL going too long when it has a clear plan set out for it's 'final arc' that'll last for a certain amount of time and is still doing well, but Yuuna gets no attention despite being 50 chapters longer, frequenting the bottom, having two different previous arcs that could've worked as finales, and still doing one-off chapters with no clear idea of how or when it's actually planning to finish. Plus Yuuna's already the second longest WSJ romcom of all time, only Nisekoi is longer. If there's anything outstaying its welcome, it's Yuuna (I guess people keep forgetting about it since it's not on Manga+?).

I know that WNL’s endings were planned and all, and I knew that they’d all basically take up a volume each. But I also think how I’d feel about the multiple endings idea will depend on the execution, and... I’ll say I’m kinda glad we’re getting the current girl out of the way now. Yuuna’s more or less been short, relatively sweet, and to the point. Sure, it’s dragged a lot before, but finally seeing relationships advance after so long will never not be tiring for me.

That is Yozakura 2 on the daily Shoseki. They just typed the wrong number in their post.

I’m only posting this here because I think the official Kimetsu tweet confirms that we’re getting a trailer and a key visual. Can’t wait for tomorrow.

I just wanted to point out that Yuuna "frequents" the bottom of the ToC because it's a manga full of nudity, sexual innuendo, female characters sitting bare ass on the face of the MC, etc. It's to hide said material from the prying eyes of children, or whatever Shueisha wants to tell themselves. It's nothing to do with your misconception that always at the bottom means a series is doing poorly or on its way to cancellation. If anything, the only thing running against Yuuna is the fact that its sales have gone down over time, like quite a few series that last 4+ years.
