Ok, I'll try to put it simply. Before = Oda gets breaks. Now = Oda gets MORE breaks.

Pity that he has been taking several breaks for years. So nothing new.

At most it will go from 3-4 chapters per month to 2-3

Surely the Jump will never reserve him a Togashi treatment

This is fine. As long as Oda use this time to make Wano the greatest arc ever. There's other Jump series I can read during these frequent breaks in the magazine, like Chainsawman and Undead x Unluck.

The source is bunshun a tabloid and does get some scoops about celebrities but it is not reliable.

It's a shame that One Piece will be on break on what I think is gonna be the issue where Kimetsu no Yaiba (And maybe The promised Neveraland ?) ends, I wanted to see Oda's comment on it.

Also.. Regarding One Piece getting more breaks... This could be problematic for the anime.
But meh.. It's fine I guess, I expect Oda to be kinda busy in the near future with stuff related to the Netflix show, but it's understandable.
If we used to get 40ish chapters per year I guess this means we will get 30ish now.

It's a win/win I guess, Shueisha artificially extends the life of one of its biggest series, Oda gets more breaks, we fans still get One Piece in a (hopefully) constant basis.

And here we thought that jump isnt going to have another monthly series... Little did we know. But I dont get whole its okay atittude. Since when huge manga like Op slowing down is okay? Are you all really believe Oda is immortal?

The message posted in Eiichiro Oda's Staff doesn't even imply anything close to that:

To me it sounds like Oda is saying that for the time being there will be more breaks, perhaps for the upcoming 1-2 months (until Japan gets better) we will have two chapters then a break or maybe even just a chapter then a break then a chapter etc..

If Oda is indeed saying something like "From now on I will have even more breaks than before" (Which I don't think was the intent of this message at all..) then well it kinda sucks, but what can you do? Oda has earned his right to do basically whatever he wants to.
