hmm, how? first he can outmatch SHEN power easily.. i think i can understand this.. Victor insting is too powerful to be bent, he can overcome on his own mind to move freely and perfectly, shen said.. but Unluck and Spoil, their power not working on victor?? so he said no rule can tie him down.. MAN, what a BEAST.. so, its he had another power? or he can counter all rule?? dont know, Unrule, unreal, this word comeup in the chapter..

It's possible that Victor was around when the days of the week existed as a rule, but the Roundtable must have gotten rid of it at some point, so it no longer exists. Victor is seemingly praising them for having gotten rid of it or finding the reward that got rid of it.

I caught up last week. Really solid manga. The concept reminds me a bit of UQ Holder, I like how dynamic it is. Powers aren't the typical elemental abilities like fire,ice etc, but concepts. Death, luck, time.
Shen is my favorite character so far. But I also liked Gina a lot. Wish she hadn't died

Atm it would be more accurate it name the battle Victor vs the 7 given Shen is out cold, Andy is in mind-prison and Izumo ain't exactly a combat type. XD
Though I might be wrong, Andy could still like hinder Victor from the inside in someway like they are talking to each other so he could take away some of his concentration. And Izumo could use her Unluck power on the others to get it that way on Victor.

Now I'm starting to think that Victor's power is "un-negate".

I think it is "Unrule" thus not only the rules of UMA but also the rules for Negation powers don't work on Victor. After all so far every Negator had rules to activate his power. Victor just ignores those rules and then smashes everyone with his own powers.

The reward being too good makes the most sense as for why they would kill "dayname UMA". Like I doubt the guy was really dangerous like Spoil, maybe a bit annoying but Apocalypse offering them a seat or location of a good Negator would anyone make kill that kinda UMA. This is also how the Union treated this month quests, they were ready to fail and let UMA Galaxy happen and focus on the 3 missions and give them the most rewards.
Until Andy came along that is. XD

A lot of people in Japan liked Gina as well. She got a large number of fanart for being there only for a couple chapters and already being dead.

Hahaha, I read the manga via a recommendation, was honestly not expecting to be impressed this much by it.
Yeah, Gina had some really good characterization (The whole artistry thing), and I like how she was opposed to the concept of change. Even her ability was very hax, I would have preferred if she stuck around as a neutral ally but they needed two seats in the Union so her death was necessary for the plot.
Her crush on Andy was EVERYTHING

True, I also liked that the mangka had no problems killing Gina for the development of the story though she was quite a loveable and interesting character. Her dying was extra-sad with Andy giving her that kiss in her old Granny form not minding her wrinkles and other age spots at all and how she clung to him during the kiss. It had a feeling of "not enough, I want more, I don't to go" to it considering her huge crush on Andy and her desire to stay as unchanging as he does. :c

Well, it is obvious now even to the speediest Unreader that Victor has battled Union before. Seems last time Gina with her Unchange power was the MVP. Interesting how we get to see the Union members battle without revealing their Powers, like you know you get a "XXX-user/power/magic/etc" box below the fighter for readers to get it hammered straight into their heads. Like some can be easily interpretated like Top might be Unstoppable and Billy Unmiss or something like that whereas others are harder to guess as they might just use technology for this battle and not their real Un-power until needed. I like it that way though, keeps it more raw and fresh in my opinion.
Lol Fuuko's plan being "BOOBS TO THE FACE", lol, can't wait to see if her "maybe" plan works out or not next week. Also Billy's blind man jokes were the best, I am a sucker for those. "What?" XD

Chapter 17 : My Impression on Union Member
Instead doing chapter review or theory (that i already did), now i want to give a list who are the most impressive member in chapter 17.
note: i love them all and cant wait to see them again in the future. And i know, not all had same spotlight as author intend to fleshed it out later on..

No. 1. Best BOY, TOP
For the top we got the unstoppable human who cant stop and wont stop.. for real, he got the most spotlight. Name drop, check. Characteristic, check. character dynamic (to others, and that banter with fuuko is great). showcase of his power, not just hint, check.
he is speedster. yeee, i was right on the nose in this one, check my theory on union member..so everyone remember VOID is UN-a-VOID-able, right? so maybe top is same thing, author like to pun, so we will get UN-s-TOP-able, or else..

No.2. Coolest Uncle, Billy
At the beginning, this dude shot 6 pistol at once.. but later on he ran away from victor clone and need tatiana for help. and we got the funniest moment in last page.. man, he is blind, look badass and cool but can be dork and goofy too. his partnership with tatiana is top notch, cant wait a quest for this duo..

No. 3. Nico
that split box dialog tho.. thats it. we got nothing new (we know he experiment andy for 10 years) and we got no hint on his power but i am very confident on my theory now..

No. 4. The BOSS, JuiZ
flaming sword, check. the sad thing about this is we never got UMA burn in action, nooo. Name drop and possible past dynamic between victor.. cant wait..

No. 5. Isshin
okay, victor said he is not combatant. and maybe he is (look on page 6, in some panel we got isshin fall/cant made superhero landing). He is not actual samurai/swordsman. But i think his character more like smith or weapon maker. thats okay we no need all to be fighter but we need support character too..

No. 6. The child
we got hint on his power, we got him on action, but nothing else.. the last name being reveal from member. Not even a word. Did he still baby and we all waiting for his first word..LOL

No. 7. Tatiana.
Not did much beside use shield and fight clone victor in background

oh, special mention on GINA.. i think we should give her applaud, her power can match pretty well on victor and she can captured him, easily. even andy said he cant win on 1v1.. and victor even sad (shame) cos the union lose her..

So this is EXAM (for tittle chapter), and Victor impress and said they all GOOD.. and i disagree.. they are SICK. WICKED SICK

They captured the flame UMA, which means one more seat will be added to the Union 10. Bringing the total number of seated members to 11. Wonder who will be the extra member.
With how Victor is currently struggling against the other members, and how easily he dismantled Shen, does that mean Shen was the weakest member At least combat wise (Not including Fuuko).
Gives his goal for becoming the strongest more of a backbone/reasoning now.

It was more the Victor arc with Spoil leading into it, at least considering the importance of the two fights (one had 3 Union members, the other had all of them). I guess Victor remembers everything Andy does? Else I couldn't explain how he knew about Burn and the reward for capturing it. Dude seems to not really be anti-Union as he wants them to grow stronger and replace Fuuko with a stronger Negator. When he said "I'll find even stronger Negators to fill the roles and..:" I was like whoa! Was Victor perhaps a former Nr.1 of Union? Was he working for them as a Negator-hunter? Did he break with them because they are in his opinion "halfwits" whereas Juiz sees Victor as someone lacking Justice and Ambition and thus unfit to give them advises. Makes me want to know more about Victor's past.
Victor not killing Fuuko was weird but he did attempt to so I guess as long as she didn't annoy him too much he didn't cared if she lived or died (except hurting Andy in the process of hurting her) as long as he could enjoy the fight. I think he is a battlemaniac, ruthless and addicted to fighting, like a god (or UMA) of war. Loved Fuuko go all "Fuck friendship, I got a gun" and pointblank shots Victor just to stab him with her thumb to reach Andy in his brain, lol. XD
Also loved how expressive Tatiana is with her one robotic eye. XD
Same with how there is no way Fuuko can fool anyone she was not happy getting kissed by Andy, that shoujo-loving-girl. XD
Victor just standing there in the end, all smiles while the Unluck unleashes onto himself saying that it had been a long time since a "person" defeated him makes me wonder if besides UMAs and Negators Victor had fought something else... like gods~
The "You're one hell of a gal." at the end - do you guys think that was Andy or was it Victor? I think it was Victor and if so then next time he wakes it gonna be interesting to see how he will treat Fuuko then.

As for the newest chapter we finally got to see how rule changing works and damn! Damn does it work fast! Apocalypse changed all languages into English, altered memories, changed the writings and everything. Only the negators still remember. Given that Shen still knows Chinese after that change but not the weekdays when Victor asked him I guess this means it must have happened before Shen's time.
Unrepair looks pretty cool though I am curious as to why she is forming an organization on her own against Union, what is her goal?
UMA Galaxy looked great, really swole! Can't wait to see how Union deals with him next week. And who gets the 11th seat on the table.
