Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

Jujutsu and Act-age (and Chainsawman) are the veterans with less covers. I feel than Dr.Stone for example has gotten more covers in its first 100 chapters than these 3 titles.

Wondering how the situation will change since Kimetsu is over, Neverland is supposedly ending, and maybe Haikyuu is ending in fall (not counting WNL since it has been +1 year without cover already)
WSJ has a trend of not providing covers for series that have declined to a certain extent. WNL, Yuuna all have declined so the only times I can see them getting covers is for anniversaries at best.
I'm sure JK, Act Age and CSM will get a lot more covers going forward especially since all 3 don't have anime airing yet (or even an announcement in CSM and AA cases) and are still growing franchises.

Dr. Stone is an interesting case because WSJ clearly pushed it despite the meh sales, it stagnated and now it's growing again. So I can see them keeping their push for Dr. Stone and giving it 3 covers at least in a year aside from CPs.

Dr. Stone got 6 covers over its first 100 chapters
JJK got 4 covers over its first 100 chapters
AA got 3 covers over its first 100 chapters (it got its fourth cover for Chapter 101, which is so close that I'm inclined to count it)
CSM got 2 covers so far, but the series doesn't have 100 chapters yet.

If Act-age is getting an anime announcement next issue, i feel there will be no actual preview image hence not getting the cover.

If this is true I'd be mad for many reasons:
-Neverland getting more covers and better treatmente by Nak than freaking Kimetsu for its end (and its 8 climax)
-If Neverland ends in next chapter, then it will be having a special treatment only Kochikame and Slam Dunk have enjoyed
-Act-age not getting the cover for the anime, which I think has only happened to Hinomaru and Yuuna in this decade
-Then, they could have delayed the Act-age cover for next issue, but the cover is already confirmed for One Piece (and unlike Neverland, One Piece is getting the cover for no reason)
In fact, in 1981 the manga Yamazaki Ginjirou ended in his chapter 44 with a cover in issue 16.

I HIGHLY doubt TPN will get a cover for the end. Where are people getting that idea from?

Act Age getting an anime is as surprising as the Sun rising.
Honestly, don't really care much for it gets the cover for the announcement. They can always just give it the cover the following WSJ issue to reiterate it which I think is what they did with some series in the past, though I can't be bothered to remember or check which one.
Sorry nemesis, I'm memeing the TPN final chapter cover into reality and there's nothing you can do to stop me.

No pity for World Trigger then? <.<
Do not get me wrong, I did not like the way Toei handled World Trigger either. More needless filler and often inconsistent animation. Just that One Piece is the bigger victim since they will always have their hands on it as long as the manga is around.

I would argue the way Toei even handles the One Piece anime is why many will not give it a chance. Especially with the atrocious pacing to try adapting more than one chapter in an episode. Then there's the bigger forcing of fan service when the New World barely even gave characters like Viola and Rebecca massive water balloons in the manga.

So it seems like JJK and Act Age were a little below average in terms of how many covers they got before they hit 100 chapters. Kind of a shame. I hope Chainsaw Man can get at least 2-3 more covers before it hits 100 chapters.

One was for the series starting.

Another for popularity.

One after that was first anniversary.

Next was for climax of the fight with Tsukasa.

Then the anime announcement.

Then the second anniversary.

I have some faith on Act-age getting issue 29 cover. I want to believe.

I'm still betting on Chainsawman, Haikyuu (despite the anime delay) and MHA getting covers soon.

I present you, Eyeshield:
E21: 10 covers (#34 2002 | #49 2002 | #3-4 2003 | #14 2003 | #21 2003 | #34 2003 | #44 2003 | #9 2004 | #21 2004 | #34 2004)
It's funny that both series are from the same author: Riichiro Inagaki.

Even if the One Piece anime is popular, it is not without its criticism. Every video you go of the anime, fans of the manga rightfully criticize the pacing and mistakes when adapting it. Let me share GraneLineReview's subject on the matter because he goes into detail about this. He is a huge fan and appreciates the manga way more for the anime since the flaws makes it hard for him or any hardcore fan to enjoy.
