Moderator Notice:
Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

Why? We have the literal use of "climax" used to refer to series approaching their end, along with an arc very much dedicated to resolving the story, both answering the series major question and giving conclusions to all the girls stories. At this point this seems about as silly as the people denying Kimetsu was ending when it was.
All the buzzwords that Jump uses can be misleading sometimes. Besides, Yuuna is a wild card, it can very well go back to some of the schenaigans again after this arc (with a changed status quo). Again...it's all very hard to tell.

The catch with Yuuna is while it is at a point that it could end soon if need be; as of issue#26 - aka this coming issue - it's only 3 chapters into volume #24. So it can't be as straightforward as them announcing a climax and then the next chapter is the last or second to last chapter. Even with two more chapters and that anniversary project omake in the works, it'd be a stretch to fill the volume. Jump can usually manage things a bit more cleanly than that, as seen with Kimetsu ending right on chapter 205 to fill volume 23.

Jump is frequently prone to exaggeration (the multiple Neverland climaxes is evidence of that), but it's never outright misused terminology. Saying "entering climax" does very much indicate the conclusion of the series is planned out and in sight, regardless of how technically far that is.

Yeesh, with all this talk of Chainsaw's and Climaxes, this thread is getting very lewd.

No, it's a fucking ecchi. That's never gonna happen. This isn't Chainsaw Man, apparently.

In more serious news, I stumbled upon something genuinely surprising.

Any thoughts on this?

Happy about Act-Age not getting the announcement, it will come when it needs to, but feeding clout-chasers would be worse. F*** them all. Also pretty nice covers overall, Gondaira seems pretty good when it comes to coloring stuff, and loving MASHLE's cover too. Also regarding MASHLE, what's the ruckus with the ToC? It's 7th lmao, y'all need to chill.

I would never expect the editor for Dragon Ball to admit that there is nothing to learn from the story.

Here comes the damage control.

I read what I missed and... there's a lot to take in:

-Volume covers look nice, but I'd like to see the HQ versions first.
-The Act-Age announcement was a stage play?! xD Man, the post about Act-Age getting an anime on Reddit got so many upvotes and gilds, too. Everyone's already so mad, holy shit. RIP. The worst thing is that Act-Age's is gonna get an anime eventually, so the leakers would just say 'I told you so.' I'm glad this happened, though it's already to late to be smug to my friends about it. I do hope it does get an anime this year, though. Then Viz will actually make it important and fill in the chapters.

It was obviously never going to be the anime. Anime and film announcements have a different kind of grammer used to smaller projects.

Oh, I didn't think it was going to be an anime, especially since you guys said that anime announcements usually get a cover in the issue that they're announced. (Though, I feel like the Big News for Yuuna might be an anime second season - it's not over yet, Jump usually hands out second seasons and if there's one Jump manga that could get an anime without a cover, it's probably Yuuna. I'm likely wrong tho.)
