I highly doubt it's more than 3 new series. We literally just finished the previous round of serialization 3 weeks ago. More than 3 series would mean they planned to have a what is effectively a 7-9 series serialization round. That's insane. There's no way they'd plan to replace nearly half the magazine in the course of little more than 2 months. Even 4-6 serialization rounds are rare, and usually involve there already being free space in the magazine.
Likely zero chance. For it to be one, they'd have to have already decided to cancel it. Which given that this round of new series had to have been a few weeks in the making, means they would have decided to axe it at 3-4 chapters. That's just not happening.
The translations are probably done some time beforehand. I remember that at one point, Crunchyroll accidentally uploaded translations of DomeKano early, so they had it ready weeks in advance. It's still surprising that it leaked, though.
