Beno cause someone I didnt suspect of being mafia and someone I thought wouldnt be killed by mafia first. Day 1 hints were evil is passive and seraph is passive . Belserion hinted she would sacrifice role. there wasnt much to go on.

Seems the spirit mediums couldnt have used their ability yet hmmm, marmalade would have no one to investigate yet, demonspeed is for night 3. Asako is level 3 blocked though so only if james is telling truth can he use the role.

there is a crazy fourth one in that both are lying...thinks its a bit farfetched though. The only thing that can possibly point to uberfayst putting in two spirit medium is the fact there are both an innocent child and jesus in this game. Seems kinda redundant.

@GrySun you're also setting off alarms. I'm curious about what you'll say when you catch up. 5 mafia and we don't have a clear shot on 1. Evil was right, this is quite a lineup.

Also, you guys are making this exhausting with all the SCs and shop and bla with the mechs. It's an add-on...stop forgetting about the main game. Past how many pages and all I'm seeing is James driving this shop thing with others discussing about it. 4 townies dead, no definite mafia suspect and it's all still cards and coins for you...

Setting off alarms for what exactly? I still don’t see no reason to panic, we got only 1 kill per phase. That means if it‘s 5v13 at start then 5v11 on start D2, 5v9 on start D3. We still can make 3 mislynches before we lose because Evil will come back, so we‘re not even halfway screwed. It‘s actually quite refreshing, I don‘t remember the last time I played in a 1-kill per night setup. It makes the game less rng reliant and more about skill.

Gry, do you think due the lvl2 and lvl3 attack that neither town nor Mafia have prostitute/escort? I mean it would make sense, right?

It would. But I believe there should be an Escort, because lvl2 and lvl3 blocks are public, mafia would be bold af to block the claimed Doc/Det at day. So in theory everyone can be attacked but in practice this system is probably meant for us town because we got no role blockers.

@GrySun @Holt you wanna give more hints regarding your role or outright claim one? No?

well the plan involves letting them both live another day and then deciding on day 4 if one is mafia, i'd take that plan if I was mafia or town.

Ways james plan might fail... seraph dies cause muimadara is insane doc, if we accept there are two docs this game.
muimadara is blocked by potential mafia escort and seraph dies.
So seraph needs already 2 docs on him to live. However what if mafia have strongman...seraph dies.
2nd way seraph lives but mask of restrict is put on james leaving him unable to sacrifice seraph has 1 mask 1 mask is unaccounted for and one is in the shop, its possible mafia will have one.
3rd is that mafia buy monster reborn before seraph they get 2sc for lynching townies and 1 for kills its possible they have enough to quickly get the monster reborn.

Of course the point of the plan is to keep james alive one more day...

Oh boy, oh boy. So we lost our detective as expected and He didn't even tell us his first result. Hindsight is 20/20 but he should have sacrificed the role once he was out in the open and Takuan was blocked from doing his doctor duties. Which makes it even more confusing that Muimadara did not protect Demon. Even if there is a chance that mafia has a strongman or that you are insane those are still better odds than not doing it. That move seriously confuses me.

The death was not a janitor kill which makes me think that once again we have a mafia apprentice in the game who can level up to get the janitor role. Might also have been a Strongman for the kill but last phase Takuan was the only person to claim doctor(who was blocked) and since there have been no BP claims yet Strongman might also be an option for a Mafia Apprentice (we had one in the last two games but haven't had an apprentice in a rather long time). Since we had two nights with one kill each I assume it is just one OP mafia in the game with strong roles or we finally see the return of the SS (that sounds kinda wrong).

Then we have James and Asako and tbh I had to check what Spirit Medium even does. We have a Jesus and an Innocent Child (roles who confirm themselves) and this card mechanic which can also be used to clear 3 other townies and prove their allegiance. I can absolutely see the benefits of James' plan and I gotta admit it is pretty dope because I did not think of the possibility of using the mechanic in this way. Seraph is gonna prove himself, townie, on Day 4 and thus becomes the trusted Graveyard Manager who can clear out others. It's pretty genius but Takuan already used one card to get his role back (possibly insane doctor since Muimadara seems to be sane (25% chance probability that he is sane) and James bought the other Monster Reborn card.

So either we trust him to do the Gravedigging or we don't his lynch puts the card back into the shop where it can be bought again. Between Asako and James, James is much more invested in finding a way to prove that he is townie( and survive another night) while Asako just agreed to the plan that was presented. Tbh I am torn between seeing James as a Mafia Mastermind who devised this plan so that he can confirm all other townies, find out their roles and become the most trusted player or just an honest townie interested in furthering our cause. SM is a nice role to claim since you can say whatever and the dead can neither confirm nor deny.

For Asako we have the argument that she claimed second and it was the usually convincing "hah you can't have that role cause I have it".
