The problem is that it comes down to him,someone not too trustworthy,being able to see into the Graveyard and the one he wants to sacrifice her role is Asako. That is the problem with this plan. Or at least this part of it.

@uberfayt If Seraph were to buy PoM and use it on the same night he brought it as quickplay does this mean he is bound to get one SC from everyone due them votelocking in the dayphase before they can buy their cards?

He will get 1SC from each one that has at least 1 in their pocket, before they get to do purchases (that's what priority 0 means on the card text).

The problem is that it comes down to him,someone not too trustworthy,being able to see into the Graveyard and the one he wants to sacrifice her role is Asako. That is the problem with this plan. Or at least this part of it.

Why do i need this PoM Card when i have the Role Reborn? That's all you want me to do in this plan,my role is useless in terms of actions and reveals. I cannot give it up and become Cowboy. Me becoming the Pinata everybody can hit on to get a Starchip is only going to backfire,on me only in this situation. I just know it,it always does.

Because PoM basically steals from everyone a SC, also from the Mafia meaning they lose SCs they want to buy cards with. You use PoM tonight you steal 5 Scs from Mafia, tomorrow night after lynching Gry or some other Mafia, 4, so nearly 10 SC are lost for Mafia. I have really no idea why Mafia didn't instant sacrifice somebody to have him use PoM to then buy all 3 RR cards using the 15+ SCs he got in the first night. No idea what they were thinking. Probably nothing at all.
Thats why I rushed so quickly for RR, to keep at least ONE card safe for town to confirm a townie with it!
I risked so much dude and that's way I get treated...
And it won't backfire.
No way Mafia didn't used SM on Demon yesterday. After all, think about it:
If Mafia really had an escort why didn't they just block demon with it?
Answer: Because they have no escort so they were forced to use SM on Demon as we got a claimed doc with Madara but they couldn't kill madara first as then Demon might find someone of them.
You get it?
And that is why you are safe for tonight.
And for tomorrow night you are safe if you and @Belserion work together.
Townies need to work together to win, Sera, that's why we do this crwodfunding to get you the last RR in the game!

Not so sure about Seraph anymore. Maybe I need to revalue my opinion of him being an intelligent player. I really can't understand how he still votes for me when I am just trying to give him all he needs to get RR and PoM at once and considering what uber answered to my question:

Which means Sera will get 11 SC tonight if he buys the PoM. That is awesome!
The PoM is even more OP than the RR considering that with PoM you can basically buy anything. Mafia really fucked up not going full sacrifice and PoM on at least night 2 to keep Townies from buying RR. Had they done that I would have failed the RR buy due needing 6 but losing one of my SCs due the PoM steal.

This James is so reminiscent of the James from the Marvel Game. He's yelling in bolded caps lol. Tbh Asako is the least convincing of the two. There's something evasive in the way she replies. Now Gry seems to be defending her against a James who is ready and willing to die? I mean isn't the argument basically:

James: I will die and prove myself!!
Grysun: Just die James you're mafia!!

You're both going around in circles with the same endgame in mind.

As for myself I admit to not liking the plan that heaps everything on seraph and trusting the Mafia to not kill him. But if he's ok with it then good hunting.

As for the SM confusion, Gry you asked what Asako gains from lying. Well she might not be lying. If it's one big Mafia she could be Pirate and stole the role. Uber already confirmed if the pirate sacrifices the role after stealing, his role would still show as pirate in the graveyard. Even knowing that, James sacrificed his role. Asako is the one hesitating now.

I would be a lot more suspicious about the whole thing if James wasn't willing to die tbh.

Because it is going to prove @Asako either way if she is really townie:
If I am townie I will tell everyone that she is townie.
If I am Mafia I will tell everyone she is Mafia as well. So in other words, nobody is going to believe me but town managed to get a Mafia on day 3. (spoiler alert: nope, still regular townie, sorry to disappoint folks)
The only reason Asako would not want to sacrifice is not to protect her oh so important role because SM isn't that important but because her role is a Mafia one and for whatever reason she claimed SM after me. But since that doesn't really make sense from a Mafia PoV I believe she is SM just like I am and she is just too scared to trust me and take a leap by losing her role even if she becomes a cowboy afterwards (for which she needs 5 SC meaning she won't mind Sera taking one of her at least 7 SC she would earn today with her sacrifice).

@Takuan And who else should sacrifice besides Asako? Remember I am going to die as regular townie meaning my role on the GY is SM meaning if Asako refuses to sacrifice today even if she were to sacrifice tomorrow nobody is going to believe her and Gry will be the first to call for her blood. Ofc I could prove Bel but that would mean that the BP role dies with me today which is BS.
Let's face it Taku, Gry and Holt did a good work of stopping my plan. Even with you, desin and others believing and working on it, it doesn't work if we got nobody ready to be sacrificed today to become confirmed by me.

@uberfayt can a vanilla townie role be sacrificed, in theory? Because after pirate usage he‘d just be a normal townie, how do you sacrifice that. Shouldn‘t it have failed when he used it?
If it works like you said then well played to you for thinking about it and Asako for assuming James would sacrifice the role for her plan.

I never said you were preventing James' plan. Not actively anyway, you're voicing against it.
The RR is a good tool in order to confirm townie though... How do you want to use the card WITHOUT having to sacrifice a role before? Yes we lose a role, that's the whole point of the card and the mechanic. You're saying we should not use it? Then we have no tools to confirm anyone.
