Slowly warming up to the reality that We Never Learn’s recent gildings on Reddit is going to leap to Kaguya levels and it’s karma will be on par with HeroAca and Chainsaw Man’s once we get to the Sensei route and I dunno how to feel about this.

That’s neat. Let’s see how high they go. Currently 6 and 11 right now. Does support my prediction that Ayakashi’s probably gonna be a mainstay.

AT- I was kinda indifferent to this chapter before the last couple pages. It felt pretty mediocre for a shounen with a slice of romance. I'm not really how the series is going to progress from here. I'm probably gonna keep reading because I like the art. The action is bit meh (especially in comparison to other series in Jump right now).

TPGW- I really feel like Aino is carrying this series right now. The MC is mostly just annoying, every other line he has is "I'm not as good as her" or "I'm a cheater" and it just becomes noise. He seems to be growing by the end of this chapter though which is good.

UxU- This series has the best world building I've seen in a long time. Everything is so insane, that I honestly thought this was a troll chapter during the middle. Great Chapter

Mashle- This chapter was okay. The side characters aren't as fun as Mash for me, but I don't think most of them are terrible (there is one stand-out but I'm not gonna mention it).

GOTW- Is it confirmed to ending or is it just speculation? I can't imagine this ending next chapter because it seems like it's starting a new arc. This chapter's whatever, I'm noticing that the world in this series is not interesting at all.

CSM- This series has always done a great job mixing the quieter more peaceful moments with feelings of foreboding and dread. This is probably the best trio in Jump with how well they work off each other.

JJK- This was a pure flex chapter. Not much in terms of story and it feels really short, but it is really exciting.

Ayakashi just screams cancel me, cute male lead ruined by bad plot decision and the lewd should have been subtle was too In your face to be likable or entertaining. Needs to go back to the drawing board.

Ghostwriter continues to be the best written manga in the magazine after haikyuu!! and BLack Clover. I cried from it too, so motivating and encouraging.

I wonder which version of Matsuri will be on group covers, the end of the chapter made it seem like he'd be that way for a while, but the little box with MC face in it has his guy form, and the preview for the next issue also used it. Wonder what will end up happening.

A really good week, I enjoyed every chapter of the series I read.

Mashle was hilarious. The way those owls were used cracked me up. I'm glad Lance gets the attention he deserves, I really like him.

Mitama was even funnier. Renas reaction at the end was just spot-on. I will miss this manga so bad once it ends.

Ayakashi Triangle offered a really nice first chapter. Of course the art is gorgeous, but I also like the characters and the humor that comes with them. Can't wait to see how that twist will play out in the second chapter.

This week's chapter of Ghostwriter was a really good solution to the previous chapter. Sure, it was kinda predictable but I still liked it. While I don't love Sasaki, I can't really share the hate he gets. I think he's an interesting character that already shows a good amount of growth.

Well, TPN is finally over, and I can stop forcing myself to read it every week. Thank god. The ending was... fine I guess? Although I guess "just fine" was the best Neverland was gonna get out of me in the end. Neverland really should have been one of the defining manga of the 2010s, but everything after Goldy, or even arguably Gracefield was kinda bad.

On a lighter note, JJK, CSM, MHA, UU, Yoza and Stone all had pretty good chapters this week.

Also Ayakashi was pretty good. Didn't expect the genderbending, but I'm not gonna pretend it's not a welcome addition for me.

It's not about M+ anymore. Viz's tweet announcing the series is filled with people complaining about exorcism genre and generic looks. There's a pretty noticeable bad reception even if it overall may not be that negative.

Axebait, trash, boring, but overall there are mixed comments, same buzzwords as always.

Why. I thought people have accepted that Exorcists are what people want in 2019/2020 and beyond. Theyre safe bets and always fantastic.
