Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

But, think about coomers and Yabukifans.
Seriously, if that annoyed you, why did you read it in the first place. It's like a vegan go to a butcher shop and demand to be served vegan food.
Also, panty is pretty tame. I'm looking forward to seeing his neat reflection trick.

It was already announced before and also a freaking fantastic idea.
Oh I agree. I just never expected that to happen for WEH lmao

Just to clarify, my question assumes that you're up to date with the series, and reading it weekly.
You should record the final statistics when you're done, it'll be interesting to see who reads what. Gives us a better idea about what might top the polls.

Perhaps add/use these options for each series
-read (have a positive opinion)
-read (have a negative opinion)
-do not read (have a positive opinion)
-do not read (have a negative opinion)

For example, I read mostly everything. However there have been times where there are some series I read simply without necessarily enjoying at all.
Currently that's just Yozakura tbh, I like all the other mainstays right now. However in the past there have been times were I disliked up to half of the magazine yet still read most of it so I could have an informed opinion, alongside feeling this need for completion.
Only series I'm not up to date with rn are Haikyuu, Act-Age, and We Never Learn but I've still read huge chunks of them and have overall pretty positive opinions.
And the magazine is only half full. There is so much room for new huge new series that combined with what Jump has and is building up now has the possibility to truly usher in a new golden age of Jump.
I know I keep saying this, but I'm so hyped for the next few years of Jump.

Would be nice to get the ToC tonight.

We won't see Ghost Writer's first placement until next week but we can still see if Moriking and Bone can hold their good ranks.

This please, so I can know for sure how many compatriots who share the same contrarian opinion about one piece with me.

I'm more interested in who's up for the chopping block tbh

Either Mitama or Agravity Boys. Bone Collection might be next after 10+ more chapters in my opinion.
See here:

Even Yozakura might not see the end of this year if it is unlucky and other new series shot past it while it doesn't grow fast enough to convince Jump that there is value in keeping it around. Right now too much of Jump's line up is fresh outta the oven to really know who is next on the chopping block but yeah, I think either Mitama or Agravity Boys are the most likely candidate for the next axe chop.

Which is why I said might and in my opinion. Though I still don't get why it gets such high ratings though WSJ probably knows why they put it there. Maybe.
Because it was well received (at least the first chapter), not much mystery.

Honestly, I'd take the rankings with a bit more salt than usual this time, mainly because over half the magazine's filled with unestablished series, many of which are unranked. It's a real exciting time, seeing which will come out of the battle royale alive and ready to join the Jump ranks.

Also, a good first ranking is nice, but I'm more interested in the long term. Can it hold it's ranking over time.

Your opinion of it doesn't matter, a series that gets #4 in its first ranking almost certainly isn't going to join the U19 club. Especially since WSJ's current line-up is so low on established series that anything with even a little promise is worth promoting.

Just look at Agravity Boys, it's pretty much established itself as a bottom 3 series at this point but it sold okay and gets little bits of promotion outside of Jump, so it might keep sticking around.

If Mitama, Yozakura, or Agravity Boys had started in a more competitive line-up, I have no doubt they'd have been gone already.

It can drop for sure, but a 4th place still a 4th place, Jump hardly would place a series this high if its a complete flop.

Really confused still as to why Undead 2 and Yozakura 3 didn't get full reprints yet.

They are obligated to report the reprints? because by Yozakura constantly going up and down it seems like they're doing little reprints and sending to the stores.

Btw, Agravity Boys vol.1 reached 100 customer reviews with a almost perfect score on Amazon, impressive, Undead only reached that after vol.2 release.
