M&R: Cute Robo Maids! Surely a best-seller! <3
Though given the Mom said she messed up the Order what is Roboco? Well, in any case, at least she got the twintail hairstyle the MC kiddo wanted his robo maid to have. That's something. I found Moriking a bit funnier though, so I dunno how Japanese readers will ract/rank those gags shown in this first chapter. The nice bullies was a nice thing though.^^
OP: Well, it is 2020, anyone can be anything they want to be. No judging, Luffy.
MHA: Pretty one-sided so far, ain't it? <.<
Dr.Stone: That was a pretty cool protecting pose, not gonna lie. Still wish the gender was the other one, stop looking so hot!
Moripet: The name change is appropriate with this chapter, lol. A Loli with a muscular man in cool outfit on a leash entering a pet tournament vs a shota with a muscular man as pet to find out who is the greatest pet of them all! No wonder the other contenders and Shouko left, poor Host, lol. XD
Haikyu!: Those were cool moments with the flags in the background. Those kids have come really far.
HCD: Awww, isn't she the cutest little murderer? <3
And lol, my predictions from first chapter were right. Although I was wrong on the perverted part, I was still right about the Octopus part. A good WTF chapter, hopefully it gets more people interested in wanting to find out why this island is so important and what exactly "Ocean-crime" means in this context. I would like to see Tamura have another success after Beelzebub.
Mashle: Never underrestimate the hate of the unloved, join the dark side of the eternal Singles, Anakin~ Wait, wrong parody.
AT: Matsuri is hot. Also that new character at the end? Possible "love interest" as being trouble in paradies? If so question is for who exactly? XD
Magu-chan: Lol, we got another god of Chaos faster than expected. I expected them too arrive but not already at ch.2. Also are we sure Magu-chan is the real king of destruction and not Ruru-chan who just deals with higher beings like they are impolite kids?^^
AA: Satsuki is so cute! She got a big task ahead of her but I am sure she will manage it just fine! Also so many Keis in the CP, love them all! <3 <3 <3
JjK: Well, that is a convenient power, couldn't that have been mentioned before? Or was it mentioned before and I just forgot? In any case, impressive ending.
BC: I don't read it.
TPG: So.... we are doing a Teppei Solo after all with Aino being the rival who has to lose to save her life? I... don't really like that development. At least now he has to solve this on his own but I can't see it him becoming a mangaka genius just due pressure. But using an entire chapter to have a talk 20 years into the future of an alternative reality? Like if you could do that all the time how about not talking in riddles and math and just go straight to the point? I still rather had seen Teppei and Aino working together, even if only in secret... :C
UU: New guy! New addition to Union? Maybe. In any case, he clearly showed what trouble not-English speaking had after UMA Language got killed. The Negators now stick out like sore thumbs, alienated from family and friends and the society they were used to to begin with. Now they are easy prey for everyone who wants to take their powers under their reign. Very important bit about worldbuilding too, seems nothing is lost to this world in terms of Negator powers as they stick around in a new human after dying. Which means Fuuko might not be the first "Unlucky" person of this world. Very interesting. Though it also means that the memories of the old world versions are not included in that Negator power transfer deal.
The fight between Andy and Unrepair gonna be great for sure, plus we might get a 3 vs 3 fight after all too!
Yozakura: I really wanted that big bro just to blow up already...
CSM: Hm, pretty much a repeat of last chapter but with a cool Makima feature display (who is slightly over-powered) and an ominous ending. Also lucky, I was born in July, lol.^^
WNL: Yay, teen drama~ (sarcasm off)
BoneC: Lotsa new characters for one chapter? Going into overdrive already?
Mitama: Starting to feel like this one wills tick around forever, climbing over the corpses of the old veterans and unlucky newbies. XD
AB: Flashback Arc? I guess this means it will be save for some more time due Haikyu! ending soon. Gotta say Saga came in like a White Knight, no wonder the ChrisxSaga ship is so strong, lol. xD
For me it wasn't such a memorable week, maybe because last week releases overshadow this one a bit? In any case, liked most of what I read today.
It probably went down like this:
"Sir! The first chapter of a new series called Spy X Family just came out-"
"GIVE THAT SERIES AN ANIME!"
"...Sir? Did you read it already?"
"No, but I like the title."
So true. If we go by "first chapter impression" then Magu-chan wins hands-down to all other 3 series.
For me it would be like Magu-chan>>> AT/HBD>Roboco.
This week's top 5:
1. Mitama Security - Fantastic chapter. Doesn't feel like the series is ending anymore as quickly as it did in the previous few chapters, but it was great to see everyone gathered together in one scene like that.
2. Undead Unluck - Awesome chapter with some great world-building details slipped in there. Can't wait to learn more about all of the new characters.
3. Magu-chan: God of Destruction - Hilarious chapter. The new character introduced was great, and Magu-chan is smarter than I thought they'd make him at first. I hope this one sticks around.
4. Act-Age - Great chapter. I love that they're treating the little girl on equal footing as them. She's a really fun addition.
5. Moriking - The ending of this chapter had me in stitches. Shoko truly is the greatest character in the series. The butterfly is a good addition to the cast too.
The best of the rest:
6. Mashle - Pretty good chapter, but not quite as good as some of the other fight chapter. Spiky hair still hasn't sold me.
7. Chainsaw Man - Still such a crazy setup taking place. Any noteworthy names sneak their way into any of those lists?
8. Mission: Yozakura Family - Pretty standard chapter, but the lack of Mutsumi was a bit of a bummer.
9. Ayakashi Triangle - Pretty decent setup chapter. I'm more interested in what's going to happen next chapter.
10. We Never Learn - This arc has basically felt like a complete rehash of events that already took place, but at least Fumino has been the focus of them. Uruka route > Fumino route > Rizu route
11. Agravity Boys - Better chapter than usual, and Geralt and Baba were (mostly) nowhere to be seen. The series feels like it's heading towards its ending.
12. Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin - Such a weird chapter. The art is solid, but I'm just as confused as the MC to what's actually happening in this series.
13. Time Paradox Ghostwriter - Not loving this development. It just feels really forced, plus the MC is still insufferable.
14. Me & Roboco - It had one moment where I cracked a smile, but that's about it. My least favorite of the gags.
15. Bone Collection - Awful chapter. Aggressively unfunny and the art actually hurt my eyes this chapter. I'll be surprised if this doesn't hit rock bottom of the TOC in the next 2 chapters.
11. Agravity Boys - Better chapter than usual, and Chris and Baba were (mostly) nowhere to be seen. The series feels like it's heading towards its ending.
With the new batch fully released my ranking would be
-Magu-Chan
-Hard Boiled Cop
-Ayakashi
-Roboko
Tho they aren’t that apart from each other, they all have their pros.
Magu feels like it keeps it simple yet effective, Dolphin is so weird and absurd that I lol a lot (probably the funniest chapter this week to me), Ayakashi isn’t something like unique but is still fun to read, Roboko feels like it definitely will flow better with shorter chapters, not that it’s bad but I just liked the other series better
Based on the scale of would I spend 5.99 - 8.49$ to buy them under the pricing scheme books are sold here, for years to come, none of them would be ones I'd buy.
On the previous batch, Id buy TGPW, Mashle, and Agravity Boys.
Thanks! That was a typo on my part. Of the main cast, Chris and Saga are my favorites (excluding HDB who's so far above everyone else that he's in a league of his own).
As for the poll question, Magu-chan was my favorite first chapter. I thought it would be hard to top Ayakashi, but Magu-chan found a way. Dolphin still feels very bizarre to me, and Roboco's first chapter didn't do much for me.
Gonna cast a vote for Ayakashi mainly because I couldn't decide between it and Magu-chan and I know Magu-chan's gonna get most of the votes anyways.
Overall a decent batch, but I'm honestly kind of more interested in Jump Plus's new batch of series, seen below:
All 4 of these seem like they'd be interesting off the gate for me and built on top of that, whereas I had to learn more about the Jump stories to drum up interest. 3 times out of 4.
This Hard-Boiled Cop's chapter was really cool, especially the end. It really feels like it's gonna be a Beelzebub like, a lot of comedy and some serious figths.
Moriking still being so great.
Nice chapter for Me & Roboco, looking forward to the next ones.

Me & Roboco had a very dated kind of humor, the meta gags were funny tho. Not really my thing after all. I feel like the second chapter of Shakunetsu should have been the first one and the story could have been further developed there, it'd make the series much more attractive. I just want something tense and unexpected. Magu-chan keeps being very wholesome and the best out of the new batch, I just want to write my name in Magu-chan's best friend book. Mitama had one of its weakest chapters, if no the weakest so far.
I'm not exactly invested in Time Paradox Ghostwriter, but at least it has me curious about the outcome. I'm starting to think Koumoto has a thing for hands, they could be friends with Horikoshi (it was a cool chapter also). Haikyuu!! was pretty hype and I only now noticed something in preview that might be a spoiler of the upcoming chapters lol. Ok, NOW it makes sense why Sukuna is interested in that guy. It's pretty convenient but it gives use some answers. My Hero Academia also had a pretty hype chapter, such good expressions on Shigaraki.
