what's stopping Kishimoto from serializing Bench? I think it has a better chance of surviving than S8
it will fill in the empty sport slot, it'll be surprising but intriguing and also won't have the burden of meeting 2 years of hype and expectations

I know it is from a single chain of stores, but the position of Moriking is terrible. I doubt its ranking in Shoseki will be good.

It is curious when you consider how much WSJ promoted Moriking (although this had stopped in the last weeks).

Magu chan and Moriking are very similar series, so seriously one cannibalizes the other.
But magu chan seems to have a greater depth than Moriking.

could be, they hit similair demographics, hell Maguchan is even broader and tackles more than Moriking at the moment.

Edit: It seems you guys are taking Magu-chan being popular too much for granted, it's like what happened with TPG in the beggining, take care to not get a reality check in few weeks.

On Amazon it's 1st even above Haikyuu, it's not really new, CSM it's quite big online but all this fuss online still not reflects entirely in the physical sales

Yeah. I don't think this is going to accurately reflect sales either. However, Morí King's low position is worrisome.

Rakuten daily really doesn't say that much. Like for example they could have ordered 5k copies from Magu-chan for their stores but only 2k for Moriking. If Moriking sells 1k at one day and Magu-chan 1.8k then Magu obviously ranks higher due more sales but there are simply limits to grow as some stores will have more Magu volumes to promote and hardly any Moris. Plus the daily rankings from that one store chain often differs from the Shoseki one.
Still to be lower than Bones which is already feeling the axe to its throat... that is worrisome. I like Moriking, I hope it can survive the gag bowl massacre coming to us and of which Mitama is its first victim.

Well, Moriking and Paradox Ghostwriter are in better position in Honto.

Although this isn't a good position either when you consider the position of Yozakura.

Mashle 1 was #22 and Mission: Yozakura Family 3 was #53 on their debut day in June.
