Man if the author pull this right, we will finally have a new and popular vampire series on Shonen Jump, the one shot looks really good and the art is super interesting, it looks a lot SQ-ish, this is really my hyped new series by now!

To be fair on Nakano, launching disposable gag manga is a relatively smart manuver when you're attempting a rapid-fire spread strategy, which is what he's more or less doing in this instance. Maybe it's not the strongest, but nothing really can be.

Meanwhile, the simple explanation for spokon? No one wants to do one. It's a genre which I'd imagine is very difficult to put your creative thumbprint on given the backlog you have to compete with, and the end result is a gamble at best of times. I know people want one, but that's not the same as getting it.

Also, I read the oneshot for the third series (GFC 2018 winner) and I thought it was really good. Not sure if the MC's power is fit for a series though, and not sure if another exorcist series is really what we need with JJK already filling that niche. But we'll see.

After looking at the one shot, Bokura no Ketsumei has shot up my hype levels, definitely the new series I’m most looking forward to.
