you really think the industry is harboring such indecent people behind pennames? *shiveru* I hope not. Not a good look for Shueisha etc.

I dont even know if the writer can be reformed, seemed so quick to admit it was him that it had to be something he regularly did and would continue to do. Would be too risky to work woth him whrn thrres thousands of struggling mangaka out there.

I personally don’t want him to easily return just like nothing. And hopefully not in Jump.

But he could easily pop back up in 10 years as a web/light novel writer named BANANA or something. Ppl with pen names in the manga and LN industry seem to not have much of a problem hiding their real identities, especially when they only write, and there’s no artwork for ppl to compare and contrast.

And I’m sure there is some editors out there who’d be willing to work with him, and keep his identity hidden as long as the work is good enough. I highly doubt that he’d come back to Jump or Shuiesha at all though, and problem wouldn’t be able to come with a fake name if he were to approach them again.

Okay, I see now why people said TPGW is getting axed. Honestly unlike many other readers I found it pretty weak as a series, outside of the premise and the art (Which kinda feels lacking in style/personality)

Sad to see AA go even though it's not surprising it got axed. I wish Usazaki all the best and I'm sure she'll find new success whether it'd be in WSJ or another magazine. She'll probably be back in WSJ with that statement that was issued. As for Matsuki, I can only hope that he gets the stiffest penalty possible and not some slap on the wrist (aka fine) like the scum Watsuki. Both are scum and deserve jail time.

I still plan on catching up with AA regardless of how abrupt the ending is.

P.S Props to Murata. I don't want to deviate from the bigger topic at all but I remember reading tweets of him defending Kimetsu (iirc it was something about how the series only got popular because of Ufotable/anime) and now he's showing support to Usazaki is incredible. I hope more mangaka's show their support for Usazaki.

Kinda weird to think that if you split Jump right down the middle right now with 9 old series and 9 new (ignoring HxH) both Yoza and Agravity would be in the older half.

Also, TPGW is definitively getting the axe, but I like what the author is doing with the remaning chapters.
I'm very satisfied with the direction it tooks and think that, ironically, the axe is making the series better (But I have to wait until the proper end to confirm this).

Read the news about act-age. I totally understand the decision, and it's the right one. But missing the last chapter is bumming me out. I'm so conflicted. Even worse, the bastard's comment is in the comments from the author list. Damn it.

With that said...this is probably one of the weirdest weeks of manga chapters that I've ever read. What the hell?

First, my top 5...

1. We Never Learn
Asumi's my favourite girl, and she looks great. I have high hopes for this route already.
2. Black Clover
I don't know what's up with this series lately, but it's on a roll. The desperation and pacing of this chapter was fulfilling in every way.
3. Mission: Yozakura Family
It's hilarious to say this after my last post about it, but it's about damn time. This is what I wanted!
4. Undead Unluck
Nothing special to say, it's just another great chapter overall.
5. Dr. Stone
Another solid chapter.

Other notes:
My Hero Academia:
I'm conflicted. A character moment that was taken by another character that needed it. I just...man, I don't know. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

One Piece:
Is this the chapter where the editor cried? I feel so emotionally distant from One Piece, so...I can't really say I felt much.

Hard Boiled Cop & Dolphin:
Talk about low hanging fruit. :/

Me & Roboco:
Bondo's mom is the best character in this series.

Jujutsu Kaisen:
I'm hopelessly lost when following this series, but this chapter was actually pretty cool.

Moriking:
The new character's design is great, but unfortunately this wasn't very funny.

Agravity Boys:
This feels like self destruction on the mangaka's part. Now I'm starting to get cancellation vibes...

Bone Collection:
If Agravity Boys was self destruction, this was Explosion. What the hell was this crap?

Mitama Security:
With the author's note in mind, this chapter came off as really depressing. It hit all of the canceled manga checkmarks. Aww man.

Ehhhhh. Ehhhhhhhhhhhh....

Roboco should be a manga about the mother, it would be way better.

Time Paradox actually has an interesting plot and I'm kinda sad it didn't get to show it at the pace it wanted, but I also can't say it's an unjustified axe, the series was a mess with good ideas. A shame, but I actually really liked this chapter.

BC: Don't read it. Did it by accident though. Why can't super villains just kill their opponents? Why is that so?

MHA: Ofc! Why let a girl be the star of the scene when you can have a boy do it instead? *shakes head*

CSM: That is uh... that is an interesting wish, Denji. Not gonna lie.

HBC&D: Back to boob jokes.

M&R: It feels like yesterday when this series made an AA reference~ Now it was an AT one.

JjK: That summon looks cool.

Magu-chan: Magu trying to catch a butterfly was the cutest thing ever! Also that hot guy is such a chunni, holy crap, lol. XD

Mashle: Well, I'm disappointed. Not in the fight that looked awesome. I'm disappointed with the opponent's power because I thought he and Mashle were the same and now they weren't... Also isn't a strike like that really bad? Isn't that where some really important organs are? <.<

UU: Nice combination of powers. Really fancy legs, Rip-san! Good old Negator shoot-out! Next chapter cannot come quickly enough to show the result of this battle! One thing is for certain: Most of those bad guys on the ship? They are swimming with the fishies. XD

Moriking: Oka is adorable and the new Insect Queen is a supercute Gyaru. Love how they all just buzz around Shoko like she is a bug magnet. XD

M:YZ: If I didn't know better I would say this is in its final arc. o.o

WNL: Oh this was a very interesting start! Adult Yuiga and Adult Senpai, nice idea! I thought for a second this was a teacherxstudent arc because of the situation with his beautiful student, lol.

AB: Those boys can't be serious! For real! Oh well, at least they moved a bit further than before.

BoneC: Thank god this ends next week.

Mitama: I can't believe Mitama survived Act-Age! XDDD

Really solid issue this week, it'll be hard to choose my votes. Today's Agravity was so funny, especially after the last arc which was a bit of a let down. Mitama gone too soon. Also lol at Yozakura having a chapter like this right after we all talked about the series last night.
