Why should Undead and Mashle being the only 2020 survivor series? If Ghost Writer and Bone are ending soon, I would think all series will be safe until 2021

To be fair, I believe Act-Age being removed may be a request from Shuiesha and not completely Viz, based on their statement, and other countries saying that they were waiting for directions from Shuiesha before going forward last week.

I agree though, remove all of them or none of them.

Thought viz is totally in control by shueisha, so I don't know if I'd blame them. They probably had to fight just to keep from continuing the Rurouni kenshin spinoff.

Meanwhile, VIZ is more than happy to keep Rurouni Kenshin, the Restoration spinoff, Buso Renkin, Gun Blaze West, and Toriko in their Vault...

At least be consistent, the Watsuki charges aren't even three years old! I guess that Matsuki couldn't make them enough money

i can sadly see why jpn would want Kenshin to keep going since it was getting all that material that year (live actions and all...) and perhaps would have got out of JPN...

Where the people asking for Kenshin to be removed from video games here? or funi/toei/CR to stop selling/streaming Toriko? Though.

Also being called out for something like this in 2020 is vastly different than being called out for something in 2018 due to changing social perceptions.

Still think Watsuki's entire career should be deleted from history. I make it a point to let people know that Kenshin should not be supported no matter what. Whether they choose to listen or not after being provided with the information, isn't something I can control.

I've been told multiple times and I read an article or two that said Shimabu didn't know the girl he paid would be underaged. If that truly is the case, Shimabu should not be considered on the same level as Watsuki and Act-Age writer. If this isn't the case, then yeah - fuck him too.

Not even a few weeks ago! The AA fandom was getting super hyped over chapters 17-25 being added to the Shonen Jump Vault just hours before the news broke. It's crazy how fast things changed...

I can't even imagine how scandal coming to One Piece would even be handled...Too big to be stopped/ruined? Passed off to a separate writer? or would Shueisha end it and take him to court for damages.

I'm not going to lie. I've had this thought on the back of my mind as well for a long time. It could simply mean that he is forgiving and thinks people deserves multiple chances but it's definitely something on my mind every time something like this happens.

A lot of people, even regular manga readers, often assume that ALL manga series are in Shonen Jump.

The most embarrassing thing I've seen on a website (comicbook.com) was them stating Bleach manga sold 900 million copies, for at least 2 years after it ended. It's funny because you know they saw the 90 million written on a Japanese source (written as 900) and thought it meant 900 million.
